One Light/ No Modifier & an old camera!

I like using one light outdoors without a modifier whenever possible. And on windy days - it makes life so easy. Throwing in a 5 or 6 year old crop sensor Leica CL with the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN and the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN lenses - lit with the Profoto A2 - you got the making of some fun!

Well, it is a bit harder without one but possible. But you def don’t need the fancy name brand or expensive ones… even a white wall or foam board will do.

@@kaskoPhoto interesting. I do fetish photography and i found out that i like harder light more than soft light as i go for lots of shadows and contrast in my pictures.

The best photography channel, congratulations. honest, practical, simple and very useful. It is different the sensation of shooting with a leica, even the leica cl. I recommend a good manual experience, with the ttartisan 35mm f1.4, U$70 by the way, Although I think the pair with the 56mm f1.4 is excellent for portraiture. I would like to see much more content with the leica cl and the A10 please, with your expert point of view, maybe as a handheld flash, and studio portraiture. A hug, thank you very much. Nice video. Well said 👍. The CL is very underestimated imo. Perhaps a bit expensive brand new, but good value pre-owned. Nothing wrong with these slightly older sensors. On top of that, Leica knows how to get the best out of these sensors too. Skintones and textures are beautiful and have this organic, natural feel to them.

Love the video. If I may ask…how much post processing was done on the final images of her and the car? The colors are astounding and vibrant. I’m wondering if that’s more a characteristic of the camera and lens choice or just the camera. Either way, lovely lovely photos. Do you have a comparison between the m11 and the cl? Sorry, not trying to make this about gear. Just really impressed with the colors.

Wonderfull photos, especially those in the car. How did you focus? Manual or af? And if af, which mode ? I love my CL but I rarely use it for portraits

Honestly with that diffusion dome and angles it wasn’t an issue. And as much as I would like to say this was due to years of experience - it was pure luck with those angles with this shoot. 😂😂😂
