My Lenovo Yoga 9i Intel Evo 11857G laptop with Dolby Atmos was amazing and just recently died, which is bothersome since it's only two and a half years old and still super powerful for what I needed it for. Would you agree that this Yoga you've reviewed is probably the exact same thing except with rounded edges, larger pen, and better CPU / intel Xe? Is the sound similar as well?

Why didn't you talk abt the 90hz refresh rate, does your version not have it?

4K version does not have 90hz. Only 2.8K has 90hz - however, I do not recommend the 2.8K version as there is a noticeable "screen door" effect on the display

Bro it actually gives morethan 14 hours of video playback in 2.8k OLED I guess u have 4k

He does have the 4K version which will use more battery since the resolution of the display is so high. I think it's a waste to have 4K with this screen size anyway. The 2.8K one has a slightly brighter screen and faster refresh rate that you can change from 90hz to 60hz. Changing it to 60hz will net you even more battery life on yours if ever feel the need.

How do you guys get so much battery life. All I get is 4 hours, and I don't do anything crazy but just browse the web WTH!!! I have the 9i 2023 2.8K.

I just bought this laptop and I'm finding my right palm keeps hitting the touchpad and moving/clicking/dragging stuff around. Super annoying! Plus the touchpad has this unintentional clicky sound when I simply tap my finger on it. It's like the chassis is raised up a bit and doesn't sit flush on top and keeps hitting down on something when I tap.

It's an old model, I do have Lenovo Yoga pro 9i with i9 13th gen and rtx 4060 8 GB graphics and its just 14.5 inch

I am no fan of 2-in-1s like this, as they are very uncomfortable as tablets. Too big and bulky and useless when you are out in the field. So you must buy a real tablet, so why bother with this 2-in-1 unless you have a specific tablet user case? An MB Air M2 and an iPad Pro combo for a similar price to this Yoga 9i would be a better choice.

@@elliekim6666 I do not put convenience above professionalism. There are no compromises apart from inconvenience (for some) with two devices, but for many, there are with one.

As a mathematics student, the 2in1 are a much better choice because you can easily switch between searching something up online and writing down formulae. If your desk space is limited, 2in1 are the way to go.
