This is one more neglected dog that we had to pay $100 dollars to the owners, so thay can give him to us, just for shaving. We was great behavior and I'm sure that he will be healthy now, for some period.
What do you think about all that?
Is it OK to pay one hundred dollars to shave?

People who neglect there pets like this should never be allowed to have them. I would report the owners and get the dog rehomed.

Thank you so much for your help and empathy for neglected animals. Even in the US we have neglected and abused animals despite laws meant to protect them. 😢 🙏🏻🕊❤️🕉

Wow! He sat there like a pro! He didn’t look like he liked the bath at first, but then he seemed to really relax and enjoy it! I bet he was happy to be ‘pampered’ like that!❤. Love your channel!!

You are so good to take on these poorly neglected dogs, and what a sweet nature he has. I wonder if there's a way of getting the owner to take responsibility for getting the dog groomed again in the future. Maybe giving the owner some vouchers for a free groom say every 6 months rather than give them money. Well done for what you do.

This dog is so well behaved and his face looks happy, I think as long as someone is paying attention to him and touching him lovingly he doesn’t care what is happening.

Maybe you could ask the owners if. They still want the dog and try to convince them to hand over the dog if they can't take care of it. You do awesome work and you are so gentle and loving towards the dog. I love watching this.

I’m not sure if would make a difference but I may be the owners don't understand how painful and dangerous for a dog to not be groomed. Keeping a dog’s fur short means less daily brushing and combing is needed.

When you pay the $100, could you also give the owners an easy to read pamphlet or flyer about dog health, grooming and resources? Incentivize and educate at the same time.

I like this lady she’s a good groomer very gentle and easy. I groom my own dog I don’t know how to groom but I do keep his hair manageable because I don’t want him in pain or be mistreated by a groomer 😢 thank u for taking your time with these little guys . God bless ❤

You are doing a great thing. The dogs deserve to be in well condition. I think if the dog is neglected to the point of malnutrition or illness you should take him from the owner. You are doing a good thing.

I think you're doing great with your idea / service. Perhaps, if I may suggest, set up a pool for donations (there's many options available), where peopel can spend money. It accumulates and with that money you can directly put into helping the dog.

Even though it looks better otherwise, if you are going to return a dog to a neglectful owner, I think you should shave the tail completely. It will be the first thing that gets matted when they are returned. I must say that you are always so gentle when you groom the dogs. Thank you for helping them!

So good to see that tail wagging when this was all done and the dog felt great! I would have a hard time giving him back to the owners but most if the time when owners have not enough money to live they certainly can't pay for grooming. They love the animal but don't realize when dogs are so matted like this, the dog is in pain.

I think you’re doing a wonderful thing. I understand that there are no state regulations about the treatment of animals and no official rescue societies, so until that situation changes there is little other option for you. I hope you can afford to keep up your terrific work!

What a wonderful and clever idea to give $100 to save the dogs. So sad Serbia does not have animal welfare systems in place and so many long haired dogs in need. I think you are doing the right thing for sure. I love you and what you are doing so much. Such a well behaved dog. It just might be his first groom! You have such a big heart like angles on earth. May God bless you for the wonderful work that you are doing. I suggest that when one comes across a neglected dog such as this one, that you ask the owners if they will consider giving the dog away. Since they clearly don't love the animal, they might be persuaded to do so and allow the animal to find a caring family it deserves. I wish there were more people like you in this world, changing lives for the better.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Someone cares about him enough to feed him well and interact with him. I wonder if they need a sturdy brush, some instructions, and a hose. It's hard to tell.

But, since you've asked for our opinion, I have to tell you that I still find it hard to accept that you are paying $100 to the neglective owners... I believe they should agree to a free groom without any "reward", why pay them??? They should be thankful and grateful for your hard work and all the pains you go through for their pet's interest. Since it is ALL about helping the dogs, can you create an email group for owners of dogs you previously paid to help. Then periodically, you send out a promo offering a deep discount to bring their dog back to be groomed. At least you have a chance of helping the dog again.

You asked what can be done. Are there any police or groups enforcing animal rights where you are? If so, I thnk I would tip then off in cases like these, where the owners clearly don't care. Either way you are doing a wonderful job helping these creatures

Hi if the owner see how the dog was groom and the way the dog look at the end of the groom start taking better care of the dog needs to groom and how the dog feels and look great after each groom.

You need legal support for doing more...if there's a law in Serbia against animal abuse, there should be a clause about neglect and that can easily justify removing pet from owner...If there's no law, educating and helping community awareness, social pressure, humans are very sensitive to shame 😅 not the best way but could work 😊
