I remember stumbling across this random photographer in the Antelope Valley and seeing him as he was trying to coordinate meetups in that space. Excellent use of animations to help tell the story. I love how you also experimented with filming differently for this one. I loved the energy created by the unorthodox camera movement and the matching cuts. Love seeing a different approach. Happy for Chris man. Most people never come back from that type of past. I can relate to his story to a point. I have been sober almost 7 years and photography has helped fill a void in my life. I have always been an outdoors person but with photography, it pushes me to get out to places I would have never gone before. Congratulations to @ChristopherBalladarez on 5 years sober and for another awesome video from Sam. The struggle will always be there and that will always be a fight but photography is a positive outlet.

10 out of 10. The feeling of gathering those shots and stitching them together in post to drive emotion is palpable, and I can completely relate. It presents a canvas to the world that can't be seen by looking at the person themself. I am also a C70 shooter.
