AS A PAKISTANI I THINK the loss of Pakistan against India may be good for Pakistan cricket. The reason would be if Pakistan had won the match against India it would had saved babar captaincy. And our Pakistan team and their fans have such kind of dwarf thinking they consider to beat India just vanish all the previous mistake and unfair decisions done by Pakistan team. Pakistan can’t afford babar azam more bcz his captaincy is tried and tested and he doesn’t posses creative mindset to have some thing new element in pak team. This loss will be more extra fruitful with disqualification of pak team in group stage as it would keep Pakistan cricket authorities to rethink about their cricket revival and to bring new blood in team .Hope doesn’t anyone sees me as a biased thinker.

Sir I am Indian almost 50 yrs old. I have been watching cricket since 1983 when my dad woke me up from sleep to see India win the cricket world cup. The teams of past, Salim Mallik, Saeed Anwar, Inzi, Miandad, Imran , wasim, Waqar et al, had one thing - Never say die attitude and India would be dependent on one or 2 players.. now, things are reversed. What is lacking in Pak team is that never say die attitude. Even after posting 119, i was confident India will win. I had predicted 22 runs win but they won by 6. Reason - Pakistan lost the match in power play. Hard ball/New ball is where Pak should had taken the game away from India. 6 overs mein Pak should had scored 60/3 or somewhere nearby. Not by power hitting but picking gaps and running 2s and 3s.. They did not learn from India’s batting. India was 80/3 at the end of 10 overs and once the ball got old, barely 39 runs in next 10. Pak was just following Indian score not exceeding that. Pak should had been at 100 even if they would had lost 5/6 wickets.

Pakistan has made an absolute mockery of the target,it was not an difficult Target to chase but they lost bcz of their timid approach This match also showed that toss didn't mattered much and that's what happens in a day match where the conditions remains almost even and bowlers with good skill set ll always be in the game and this is exactly what happened.

Pakistan have done it, what it has mostly do and it is their speciality and it was a game to lose because of their old and horrendous habit of really making themselves jammed into a situation and I believe India have done some learning they saw the Netherlands Vs SA match and I have already mentioned it at the half way mark that Pakistan fans shouldn't celebrate early.
