In July 2020, 18 year old Grant Solomon died in what was deemed a freak accident in the parking lot of a gym in Gallatin, Tennessee.
The circumstances were as strange as they were tragic.
There was only one witness to the accident: Grant’s father, Aaron Solomon, a man who had been under intense scrutiny after years of allegations of abuse and mistreatment from his ex-wife.
With an investigation swiftly opened and then closed; social media lit up over the injustice.

I find it disturbing that a parent wouldn’t try to lift the truck off of him. And, yes, i can’t believe he’s telling other people to talk to his son instead of being right beside him even if he has to crawl in there with him. The employer of that building did say he saw three or four men near the truck, so i don’t think the dad is making that part up.

For sure. Both parents sound like they have some serious pathological lying issues, narcissism, and seem to be very manipulative. All of these red flags do not make the father a murderer either. There are a lot of WEIRD situations going on with this family. But the events of how Grant died could be a freak accident. We may never know. The narrator is right in what he said - broad daylight, clear view of a busy road in front of an open and operational facility with traffic. There isn't really any evidence to put the father on trial for it. Who knows. Would be ideal if some cctv footage was available - which is crazy there isn't any. Seems like there are very few places a person can be and NOT be actively filmed

I was witness to an accident driving on the freeway one morning on my way to work. A small truck rolled multiple times, partially ejecting the woman out the passenger side window. As I got to the truck I realized it was on top of her. I noticed that 2-3 more people were right behind me and told them we needed to get the truck off of her, NOW. The truck was sitting on a hillside and we needed to roll it up the hill, we couldn't even budge it. I ran back to my truck, jumped in, put it in 4-low, and drove up the hillside. I always had a tow chain in the bed and hooked it to the bottom of her truck. An off-duty Paramedic had stopped in the meantime and said she was beyond help. At about the same time, all the emergency vehicles were showing up. A Highway Patrol officer asked if I could stay hooked up to stabilize the truck. I was already late for work, so I did. I write all of this to point out how we tried desperately to get a vehicle off a complete stranger let alone my own child. How this Father was so mellow is confusing. The Mother being a compulsive liar doesn't help in getting justice. If there was foul play.

I jumped out of my car and went down the bank to him and I lifted that 900 lb motorcycle off of him. He was airlifted with multiple broken bones. Later my husband and son ask me to lift it after a few weeks of the accident and I couldn't budge the motorcycle. I believe if you have empathy and the love of your child you would do anything to save them. I think the mother has told lies & a bit of an attention seeker but there's no allegations she abused/ neglected her children so taking them from her custody was unfair. #1 a synchronicity like yhe Son saying " I don't want to D.e/un A live in yada yada today mom"... Chilling...if true well never know if that was truly said. If not true its still a reverse 180 syncronicity potentially identifying responsibility on the mother if not as originally assumed would be in relation to the guy's father. Chilling creepy... #2 Despite what we're somewhat led to believe as potentially equal suspicion of a likelihood in guilt or participation... Mom seems to have a established pattern of verifiable fibbing in the shared testimonies and recordings, where dad looks like a victim of a seemingly overly accusatory / suggestive wife aka the mother. As a pharmacist potentially & rather likely has a interest or involvement in experimentation of medications, potential abuse of pharmaceuticals or self medication which would be a nightmare to live under the same roof with that playing out I can imagine. Just in a side note, I lived w my spouse whom practiced theft & intoxication via buying street meds & or lifting them from anyone at any time possible. Ime it seems as if as the high they might seek from a outside perspective is of course a tragic situation, to the addict / abuser it's simply business as usual no big deal. Ime these are often narcissistic or mentally disturbed / compromised attention& drama seeking individuals. Back to the video observations: ok so #3 the 3 or so allegedly witnesses / constitution some such worker's who left b4 police arrived according to a witness, either problematic skittish young men or perhaps upper management / new -V orld- ordah's helping hands hit crew there to help & or handle business for ole upper esch involved dad? Extremely shady, I'd want to know way more about the guy who stated this claim of these 3ish 🚧 guy's involvement or witnessing whom supposedly left early. Who is this witness if anyone in regards to the dad or the family even( if any previous knowledge or interaction w anyone in that family? Did he know the victim etc?) #4 Spousal abuse can work from either traditional side man or woman, its a real thing just as real as parental alienation is. So at 14 that little thing was dressed that somewhat provocatively or least semi revealingly at the funeral? How she dressed fir anything else? I found that to be a bit unacceptable as a parent myself, let alone at a funeral mom thought that was appropriate... Appropriate enough... I smh. This supposed poor little thang she got some troubles I've no doubt and I don't mean just because whats happened here but rather what's contributed to what's happened here, possibly& imo... She sussy looking, acting, sounding & just fits what we would see if a mom & daughter parental alienation team dynamic duo if you will imo. #5 look see like police these days are almost always uneducated, uninformed in the law & upholding the oaths they took, tyrannical and if not completely inept to look to for any help outside of writing a report after the fact. They aren't generally evwr gomna figure things out ok...lol. I've more faith in the few remaining good honest men & women in the upper levels of alphabetical agencies & their investigatory ability but that's no guarantee if dad really is in the lower end of the really big club we're all not in... Sorry I do know this is absolutely a tragedy and not at all a laughing matter, just maintaining sanity is key here so...yea. For sure there's some ineptitude of duty, guilt and highly sus things in this case, I feel mom's more creating& being the victim here / guilty party than dad... That's imo.

This accident is sketchy AF. No matter how nutsie cuckoo the mother has behaved (her behavior and patterns of lying and accusations, some true some likely false I've done nothing but hurt her case. Mothers who lie are not helping their children, just the opposite)... The kid died when he was with his father in a freak accident to say the least. The authorities say they have investigated this 10 ways from Sunday.? Really?? Where are those three famous witnesses and why haven't they come forward?? Or did this report just missed that whole thing. Has the mother talked about it nonstop but we just haven't been shown clips of that? There's nothing worse than having to face law in the courts when they are as corrupt as these certainly could be. Just look at the Tennessee State House. @danieljames5875
@danieljames5875 17 күн бұрын
I dont like the guy at all but picture this, What are you going to do if your truck is rolling backwards? A person that does not know what to do would get behind the truck and try to stop it, Hands-on the tailgate legs yesterday wretched out sliding backwards backwards with the truck pushing him towards towards the ditch. When his feet hit the grass and the truck begins to drop off we ledge ledge he he falls down and the truck rolls over hit then drags him through the bottom of the ditch and halfway up the other side where the's fucked Rose over him and stops probably on his chest or abdomen where he had major internal injuries. The fact that the rear of the vehicle has damaged means that it could not have entered off of the roadway there's no way for it to sustain rear damage. If they would have fingerprinted the tailgate they could tell if he was holding on while being pushed backwards or potentially with his legs under the truck while holding on with his hands. When the back of the truck would have gone off the ditch he would have been smashed between the bumper and the backside of the invachment and then drug under the truck and left arrest where he was found. Unfortunately I don't think the father did anything to hurt his son. If the latter theory happened he would have again major injuries to his abdomen and lower chest i.e. Internal injuries. He would not have great marks or drag marks because he wasn't drug he was in the position that you would see when someone was trying their hardest to push a car forward exactly exactly like you would do if your car was rolling backwards and you were trying to stop it. The transmission could have been disassembled and the parking paw in the transmission could have been inspected to see if it had any where on it or any broken teeth. It is absolutely possible that the parking paw let go. It would have made some noise as it was rolling backwards, Although no one heard anything it would be hard to say if it would be loud enough to hear if you were outside. If you were on the other side of a wall or inside you would absolutely not hear It. If the father would have put it in neutral and let the truck begin rolling and slim it in park wi'm using any brakes I bet the truck would have rolled backwards just like it did when it rolled over his son. Law enforcement should allow the public to post their expertise in a certain field like autoboating tech and maybe baby some off routing enthusiasts could really help please know what to look at and what to do.

This kid in my building no more than 7, was always outside with no shoes, knocking on my door asking for food and you couldn't even see the floor in his house there was trash everywhere. Honestly the mom seemed depressed and overwhelmed. I called CPS and was told Nothing would probably come from my report. "It would have to be a horrific environment, and accession" before they would take action. That family was gone within a week of my report. I'm in MN, CPS here very active. In my career as a collision specialist, I've had a chance to do a bit of collision forensics. From the first photo of the 'accident', I was thinking, 'hey! wait a minute! The dad said the truck rolled BACKWARDS and ended up like that?? No freakin' way!' It doesn't work that way. Physics alone tell us it couldn't have happened that way. The physical evidence SHOW us it didn't happen that way. The grass at the top of the ditch would have absolutely been mashed down, and there would have been tire tracks in it. That grass was fresh and green, not dried up or mashed down, it would have retained the imprint of someone merely stepping on it, let alone a truck rolling over it. Grant allegedly was dragged approx. 60 feet, in shorts and a t-shirt. His clothes would have been filthy and bloody from being dragged on the pavement. He would have injuries along his back, his legs, arms and head consistent with being dragged 60 feet by a truck. There would have been blood and probably bits of flesh left on pavement, the rocks, the grass and absolutely on his clothes. Blood would have seeped into his clothes during the time he was laying under the truck, waiting for EMS. The truck, if had 'just rolled backward, as if it had been in neutral', would not have picked up enough momentum for it to end up in the final position it did, with the real wheels on the sidewalk. The grass on the far side of the ditch didn't have any tire marks on it, in the direction the truck had allegedly rolled. Also, for it to have happened how the dad said, Grant would have been next to the truck when it started to roll, that means he would have had to have been someone hit by the truck, (the door maybe? Hell, I don't even know!) once hit, he would have had to have been dragged under the truck, from the SIDE, from about the halfway point, (the rear door area?), he would have had some minor, and possibly a few deeper, burns on all kinds of parts of his body. It's more than clear there was a huge coverup. In an 'accident' of this nature, ANY law enforcement agency would have done a THOROUGH scene work-up, even if it were considered to be a legit accident at the moment. There would have been 100s of photos taken, of EVERYTHING, from EVERY angle, with all kinds of forensic markers. Not just the ground, parking lot and ditch, but also the truck itself, inside and out, from every conceivable angle. Once the truck was moved, the entire undercarriage would have been photographed, and samples would have been taken from any areas Grant's body would have come into contact with. The 'autopsy' was also .... just bizarre. It was clear that an 'autopsy' WAS conducted. ANY autopsy that's done follows a certain procedure, whether the death was considered accidental or otherwise. There are still basic steps that are followed. And as a coronor actually went to the trouble of 'diagramming' some of the injuries, I'd be wanting to ask him why he didn't follow procedure, and document every little scratch, pimple and bump. Why didn't he xray the body, and if internal injuries were suspected, why didn't he open Grant up and document those? You don't just 'take a glance' at an accident victim and call it a day! There are sooooo many red flags in this case, i could write a book on them. Any half assed attorney should have been able to immediately get the case reopened, and probably had Grants' body exhumed and....and....and.... I really hope they're eventually able to get justice for Grant. It's messed up that the 'good 'ol boys network' is still alive and well in Tennessee. It sucks. RIP Grant!

One thing people don’t realize is that a lot of the time only some (or none) of the cctv cameras at a business are working. The older they are, the more likely one or two are broken. CCTV systems are expensive to buy, and expensive to operate, and sketchy people trying to commit crimes will mess with them, break them, cut the wires, etc. Even the DVR or hard drives and computers needed to store the footage use up money and power. So when a camera breaks, if the business feels like it’s not absolutely necessary, it won’t be replaced. There’s no law saying they need to record the parking lot 24/7, and there’s no CCTV inspector that comes by to makes sure they’re all working or someone gets fined, or anything like that. And also, there are ALWAYS blind spots. Maybe Aaron somehow knew where those were, either by seeing the CCTV feed there or knowing someone with access to it, or just by looking around and gauging where all the visible cameras were pointed. Or maybe he just got lucky, which again, is possible. Because CCTV cameras break all the time.
@annie-banannie
@annie-banannie Ай бұрын
Your comment has lots of good info in it but I also can’t help but think of the fact that surely it can’t be as costly as it used to be, at least on the storage side of things. SO many homes have Ring doorbells now, and obviously a doorbell camera is not the same as CCTV system, but I just don’t know if saying that the storage of footage takes up money and electricity to the point of deterring a business from using it is as valid as it used to be… I’m rambling. I totally get though that they aren’t legally obligated to be recording their property and there are other deterrents like you talked about.

I hate the guy myself but picture this.... What are you going to do if your truck is rolling backwards?

Loud workshop, the bloke was screaming for a while and only one guy heard him. That guy ran to him and lifted the air compressor off him totally alone in adrenaline mode, he saved the blokes legs and ruined his own spine for the rest of his life.
