LOL, funniest Rosa moment ever when you zoom in on the sign, and then zoom back out and the unexpected and emphatic middle finger appears. I know the feeling, so frustrating and angering when things go that way!!

I knew you were in Lone Pine when you gathered water from that stream. My wife and I also needed a shower when we were there, and we bathed directly in that stream. Wow, it's frigid cold water! It was summer, and the air temp was enough to fry an egg. Close by are some pretty neat hot springs (west side of 395) and a bubbling water hole (east side of 395). It's a really wonderful area.

Absolutely beautiful campsite. I think one of the reasons that so many places are putting "day use only" up is that people don't clean up after themselves.I see this on other people's channels. I'm glad you found a spot! And thank you for showing me how to make a fire. Believe it or not, I'm 68 & that just isn't a skill set that I've acquired. Definitely important to have dry kindling & dry firewood; my recent attempts in West Virginia involved soggy firewood. I succeeded at burning a lot of fire-starter bricks. And I love that oatmeal, one of my favorites! Keep on rolling, Rosa!!
