It cracks me up that you enter your room, put the camera down and then film yourself walking in. Every time I see it, I laugh. Girl, your dedication to aesthetics is next level.

Is THAT really what she's doing?! I haven't tuned in for a few weeks, and so I thought I had missed some new camera set up in the classroom at all times... LOL that wouldn't make any sense. Thanks for commenting about that. I thought I was the only one that thought that was funny!

I mean, it's a good thing to have, but I wouldn't call that "next level." It seems basic enough: you want to give people an idea of what your day is like, so walking in the classroom might be something you would want to capture. If you're just one person, your method for capturing this is different than if someone was filming you, but that's to be expected. It's still a nice touch though, and something others might forget or not bother to include, it just doesn't strike me as particularly inventive.

As a teacher, every second counts. A second lost is a second that you could've been prepping, planning, marking, etc. What she's doing is taking 1-5 minutes each day. Sure, it looks great, but it's not needed. We know she's walking into the room with tons of stuff. It's a teacher's life, after all. For me, it's next level simply because she doesn't have to do it and does it just the same... really, for her viewers who aren't teachers. And I'm appreciative of her desire to go above and beyond.

Michelle, I seriously have no idea how you train for a marathon, make time for Billy, teach, go to extra activities, and create TPT and make KZfaq videos. It seriously bafffles me. I would love to be a part of the KZfaq community (I'm in the teaching profession too!), but it just seems so daunting! I love your content. Your TPT interview prep and videos are seriously the best. You are so good at what you do and just know your viewers are loving your transparency and all the time you devote to making such awesome content available for teachers. Much love from Missouri!

When we have a 2-hour delay it only applies to students. Teachers still have to report by 7:45. Boo! I would love to have a later start time too! I think it would benefit everyone. More sleep is always a good thing. LOL! You were super productive at school, girl! F&P testing takes forever. I have 16 students to test as well and they each take at least 30 minutes. We have the option of a sub for 1 day each testing period, but I hate to be away from my kids that long so I just grab a few each day during independent work times. If I start early enough it works out! ❤️ and hugs!

Michelle, I must say. For a 4th grade teacher you explain things in math so much EASIER than my old teachers. I never understood fractions, division etc and I still don’t and I’m in high school honestly I blame the teachers that don’t know how to each it properly. I love watching you’re videos because honestly I’m not sure if I want to be a teacher or I want to go into another career path I was thinking about. You just inspire me so much.

Hey Michelle, Can you show us your students' notebooks? It sounds like you use interactive notebooks for math. Would love to see how your students stay organized for math. Also, I love that you are typing note pages for them because it's true that copying notes sometimes takes some students SO long that they actually miss important parts of my lesson. Another question: I would totally buy your note pages for math. It would make my life as a 4th grade teacher TOTALLY easier? Tell us when you might plan to get them up on TPT.
