7 жыл бұрынPer the request of the helper, I'm uploading this the week after I filmed it. As the the title suggests, this one of is the lowest numbered Pak-Mors in the city's fleet right now. The only trucks older than this one, 098 and 099 are used for community cleanup operations and aren't even outfitted with a tipper. Because this Crane Carrier is a little older, it sounds a little different than the newer cranes with the high whine that you see way too much of on this channel.
Oh and for anyone who cares, this was filmed a few hours before the solar eclipse. Even cooler is at 5:26 he gives the channel a little plug :D

I feel for the helper. Those yard waste bin can get quite heavy. You'd have to use the tipper for food waste bins as they can weigh up to 500 lbs.

@@thorfilhodeodin3220 My company pays the helper $22hr CAN. Drivers get $32hr CAN. We generally average 10 hours per day. I generally take weekends off.

lol, the solar eclipse, for some reason, it was such a big deal. They happen all the time, its just this time it happened to be straight over the US. I mean, it would be cool to see it in totality, but really, why did everyone make such a big deal about it! Cool truck. its cool to see manual greens from esd!

Refuse Trucks of the East Coast to be fair it does look pretty cool if you're in the path of totality. The whole sky goes dark for 2 minutes, but it's the daytime. I love manual collection, I hope ESD doesn't automate any more of these routes because this is way more interesting/fun than semi auto imo.

Yeah, as I said, it would probably look cool to be in totality. But really, handing out the paper glasses almost a year in advance, that might be a bit overboard. It would be nice to see these routes stay manual, it has to stay alive somewhere in Cal.

I know this is an old video, but it seems to me to serve dual purpose. To keep shit in the hopper, and to divide the space at which they’re dumping the cans so they don’t hit each others can when dumping at one time. That’s my only suggestion.
