I know they are different but I have the vantas now. I skipped on these for the second time. First time was when they first dropped and I didn’t want to spend $320 on a pair of sneakers. That changed I’ve spent more since then haha

Great video as always Marissa! Took a W on these. Didn’t think I would own 3 color ways on the 700’s V1’s but I hit on the analog’s during the first Yeezy wave and now these 🙌🏼 lol only had my first pair since last year, which were the wave runners 😊

One thing I've always said about these is, would people even touch these if they weren't YEEZY I doubt it. If you saw these at say Walmart or some on name superstore no one would pay attention to these.

If this shoe featured a Walmart logo or belonged to an obscure, lesser-known brand instead of YEEZY, and it was priced at $14.99, it's highly likely that the majority would simply overlook it. The influence of the YEEZY brand and celebrity endorsements etc. exerts significant power in this context. The demographic of people buying these shoes often includes those who once mocked the same style of sneakers worn by dads in the 90s. The newfound interest is primarily due to the fact that they've been informed it's now considered somewhat fashionable. As you no doubt know, in all industries, it's a common phenomenon that even when a product is hideous or excessively priced, many people will still buy it as long as it provides them with some sort of status badge or sense of acceptance from others. This is just the way things tend to operate, and influence mostly the uninitiated. Let's be honest, the majority of people are not well-versed in style and typically take cues from those who are. If 'INSERT CELEBRITIES NAME HERE' says x product is cool, consumers nod and consume product.
