8GB of VRAM for that performance tier is pretty much inadequate at this point. for $300 it’s a better deal but personally i’d rather get the new GPU that’s a tiny bit slower but with 50% more VRAM, it will handle new games a lot better in the future. or better yet, get a used 6800 or 6800XT with double the VRAM over the 3070 lol

I just upgraded from a 3070 to a 6800xt and it is a lot better. I haven’t had any of the problems that people talk about with Amd cards.

@@mocsmore1308 the updates from AMD are actually great. Yes I know we don't get the luxury that Nvidia provides to non gaming programs but I still see no qualms. I stream, edit and play with my card and frankly I'm ok with the performance

@@mocsmore1308 ok so the thing is. The problems with the 6000s and pretty much most of amds releases. Is that the issues are when they release. Performance for them is also greatly improved by the time of the next release. Putting them on parity with nvidia cards.

Well if u have 3060ti or 6700xt and want to play at 1440p, it can handle it but with no extra leeway, so u prolly wont be using rtx for 1440p game on those anyways to save more fps, so rtx isn’t really that much of a problem if you think about it. Plus games nowadays are becoming more and more vram expensive so the extra 4gb for 6700xt will be a benefit, especially if u like to play games while watching videos at the side or if u have alot of monitors thats playing videos or doing something graphic all while playing games.

I’ve never owned a NVIDIA card but I bought a r7 260x for my little brother a few years back to get him started on pc gaming. I remember I taught him how to overclock and when I came back a few days later he had ALL the sliders to the max, the gpu did not care at all. It was perfectly running with no issue. It stayed like that for a solid year before he sold the pc to upgrade

No rx 6750 xt had its driver update and has fps a little higher than the 6700 xt but way more consistent and that is well worth the extra 12 dollars i paid for one over the 6700 xt

The 6750xt can be worth it if they're charging slightly more, but all AMD really did was do a memory oc from the factory and minor clock bumps

I have a 6750 xt that I got for sale for 10 to 40 dollars more than the other 6700xt's available. My one even overclock all the way up to 2950 mhz just using adrenalin software. Pleased as punch with it

I literally would have been more than good with this if it weren’t for Minecraft RTX and engineering applications like SolidWorks. In truth though, this would probably have been good enough for my SolidWorks assemblies and renderings as well, although not as good as the 4070. Although I’m happy with the GPU, a part of me cringes from having given Nvidia that amount of money for it 🙃😔

I bought my rx 6650 XT for around $250. It outperforms 3060 by a pretty big margin while being 20-40% cheaper. 40 series nvidia gpus are currently the best on the market, but if you can’t afford that, Radeon 6000 series is clearly the winner for price-performance ratio.

Guys I love my 6700xt, however display corruption is a known issue on the card, I see it sometimes, also some games may need v-sync or freesync. Other than that 60fps 4k gaming is great on it.

Yes, if you're not into Ray Tracing, DLSS - go for RX 6950 XT, you'll get RTX 3090-ish performance with a higher VRAM as well compared to RTX 4070
