Hi Alex, nice to see you again. Believe it or not, I am a design engineer by trade. I worked in industry for three years after qualification, before leaving for a totally different career. I can tell you this scope IS a piece ef engineering. Amazing! Big Steve, E. Yorks., England

Beautiful scope! The main down side besides the cost has to be the weight. Would be ideal on a bench rifle but for a hunting rifle that is carried by hand all day might make it cumbersome addition to a possibly weighty PCP on its own. On a light PCP that has the power and accuracy like a Leshiy 2 or a Huben Carbon may be a better fit. Still…NICE glass❤️

Not surprised at all by the scope, really nice bit of kit! One day I might just get me such a great scope but for now I am very happy with the performance and compact size of the Vector optics Veyrons I have, got the 3-12, two 4-16 and a 6-24, aii in FFP. They are only about 1/10 of the price but nearly half as good :-) Thanks for sharing Alex! Big thumbs up!

Its an excellent scope no doubt however, I will never buy a scope rated for soft recoil only. Even if you mount it to an air rifle and the rifle is dropped or hits on something it can damage the scope(internally, even with no visible damage) and wont be covered under warranty. Also you might want to get some decent rings for it. Like Sphur, Tier one or Audere , not the vector ones that you are using . There are a few videos on KZfaq showing the alignment issues with cheap mounts. Thanks for the video. Have a nice day.

Thanks for watching, friend. I didn't have better rings at the time. And as for the alignment, I checked them and there was no problem. About the recoil thing, they don't recommend mounting the scope on 50 BMG only.

Nice scope, it would have been nice if the side focus could have been less than 10 meters for hunters that would be shooting under the 10 meters mark

You misunderstand, Larry. I have nothing against imperial units. I'm saying it makes little sense to have milradian turrets and reticle, and parallax in yards. And vice versa. If the scope is metric, IMO it has to be all metric. If it's in imperials, it has to be all imperials. I've even greater abominations, such as MOA turrets and Mrad reticle 🤦‍♂️
