I think she lost to a man. No way that dude who won , is a real biological born female . Either that , or she started taking testosterone . Let's face it , with the exception of the UFC which has banned transgenders , from competing in female divisions . The trans have pretty much open season , in the many of the other MMA organizations. And don't get me started on some of the overseas kickboxing / mui Thai competitors. I've lost count at how many transgender males , I've seen competing in female divisions . Just so disgusting and unfair . The other ( real female ), was winning I thought and in control , especially with those throws and submission attempts .

She was excellent at the takedowns, looks like Judoka. However, she did not have the capability to finish when she clearly had about 3 submission oportunities, lack of Jiu Jitsu training maybe. I did think she was going to win and after the staredown I was on her side.

She had Rousey’s style. Limited boxing skills with a strong judo background.

That’s really not how it works, she didn’t tap out, as the other girl thy got tossed around like a efffn rag doll. She was in desperation throughout the whole match, in worse situations and the ref didn’t stop it. Favoritism with the ref or bought out.

Yeah I still give the fight to her even though she lost. I also think the ref jumped the gun a bit prematurely. Zouak won that fight hands down. Gotta give Lino her props too. She escaped from multiple arm bars that most wouldn't have been able to.

I agree. When you have the mount you must keep it or advance to take the back. The armbar is an inferior position if you don't have it locked down. I would keep the mount and submit from there or ground and pound. The dude showed heart and stayed in there until he got the win.

Absolutely. She could have maintained that mount position and either finished from there or just stayed there till the bell. That arm bar attempt was an unnecessary risk especially given that Lino had already been in an arm bar and showed the flexibility to handle it.

And you're not even curious to entertain the possibility , that it might not be a real biologically born female . There was a male ( transgendered to female ,) competing in female divisions , in the UFC about 10 years or so ago now . They were dominating for awhile as well. One of his opponents , a highly regarded female fighter , was knocked unconscious and sent to hospital . Exclaiming days later , that she had never been hit so hard in her life . The transgender was eventually defeated in a epic fight , by one of the top females who seemed out to send her own message of solidarity , with all true females . And this set the transgender competitor on a up and down roller coaster , bitching at everyone in the business . Eventually, the UFC did the right thing and created separate divisions , for transgenders . You should be able to find these videos on here , if you do a search .

Problem is she didn’t know what to do after that. Had dominate position and power. On coaches really that they didn’t come up with good plan for after takedowns. Punches and arm bar attempts were weak. Shoulda just went for chokes or let her up and keep slamming down over and over.

What fight were you watching? Slow down the speed. The punches we were able to see (once the camera angle changed) were mostly head strikes. Like they said: if you want trauma, that's on you

Zouak was out of gas at the start of round two. Then she was flat on her belly and taking a barrage of head-shots with over a minute forty left in the round. It was a good stop.

I agree 100 percent. She wasn’t hurt. That’s a tough judo girl. She was gonna post up and shake the other girl off. Second round was 10-8 in my book.

She was laying on her right arm. The right side of her head was getting pounded. She was barely blocking the left side it was a good stoppage or she would of been out cold a few more shots

the result was kind of a bummer, but I don't think she could get away from the last pounding so I think it was a good call for the ref stopping it

I agree. The ref was within the rules to stop it but those punches were really weak and weren’t doing anything so it could’ve went a little longer. It’s not like it needed to be stopped to protect the fighter.

She needed to get back to her back then work to escape from mount.

She the brunette flipped the blonde at least 12 times and took the blonde down several times. The blonde had no real style or technique. Most judges look for those amazing flips and grappling that the brunette did.
