I didn't think I was afraid of heights until I got older, but they can be paralyzing at times (fears). I lean back when your camera angle goes over the cliff and muscles tighten up all over my body, I'm not as bad as others but the more I'm away from my construction/driving job the less tolerant I become of heights. (plus health issues and weakness, old age) When the drone goes over the edge and it first person view I feel like I'm on a coaster and try to put on the brakes (press my feet into the floor and lean back) those things happen because we're immersed in the content you've created for us to enjoy. Congrats on your climb and doing a great job on filming and bring us on your journey. That area has some dangerous drops that are really difficult to see (can be deceiving to the eye) so I'm glad you got off the bike and walked it before you just YOLO of the edge. I wanted to craw on my belly to the edge to look over but the drone is much safer! Great video I hope it gets the views it deserves! You seem to like the KLX300 just fine, have you ridden the CRF300? I know the vs thing is kind of over done, and when you get right down too it, you have to ride the bike you have. So if they are comparable they'll both be very capable, so do you find that the torque or "low end grunt" in the KLX isn't enough?

I can usually tolerate heights. I drive over this insane bridge leaving the island back home and don't think twice about it but looking down off that cliff and being higher than the surrounding mountains was crazy lol. Never rode the CRF300L before but I know a few people that own them and they love them. The KLX has some pretty good low-end torque

I can’t even imagine doing an 8mile hike in motocross boots. I think the squeaking would get to me after 5minutes and id walk barefoot lol

I did Top of the World in July last year, and I can attest, it is a difficult trail. That view at the top is breathtaking though and I had the exact same response. Thanks for sharing. The video is on my channel. I would love to ride with you sometime, I think we have similar vibes.

Awesome videos! I plan to make it out there one day. I also have a Klx300. 2000 miles away from me, however. But just for the ride and to meet cool people I will definitely go that far.

Nice ride, man that was awesome. Great work with the KLX, I doubt I'd brave those trails on my 300L but I definitely have to check out Top of the World.

What a dick grinder of a ride!😵💫 That view is jaw dropping, and vertigo inducing! I hate heights as well! Honestly, I don’t think the riding or scenery gets any more pristine. If fuckin’ immaculate. Cheers!🍻

I've got a KLX300 and I'm working on building up some skills since I'm a bit of a newb. I live in a different desert than Moab, the San Rafael. If you like the less tourist oriented places, there are plenty of long trails out this way, though just like with Moab, the BLM is screwing with closing roads. Honestly you SHOULD move out here. Only a few thousand people actually live in the redrock country and too few of those take advantage of the endless adventure potential.
