Valle d'Aosta in a camper, along the regional road 39: very demanding due to the slope, many hairpin bends and it is also narrow. You can also get here from La Thuile, certainly less demanding, we followed it on the way down.
For the lake the path is right near the parking lot. Fairly simple excursion, walking calmly for about an hour. We saw some route signs indicating trekking even with strollers... I wouldn't recommend it!
In the mountains we know rain and sun often alternate, the weather was kind to us and introduced us to a wonderful place where we will certainly return to tour the lake.
Quiet night, zero traffic, filled water tank from the hotel fountain, after obviously asking why the other fountain was closed. Park already towards the exit, if cars arrive it is easy to remain closed during the period of greatest visits.
They recommended the Genzianella restaurant (hotel) to us but it was still closed, they were doing work to open it.
Furthermore, it is always a good idea to check the road beforehand as it could be closed due to snow, landslides, etc. etc.
