Thanks for doing this documentary Santino is my little brother that's my mother and aunt that's talking in this piece, it's crazy cause I remember the night when we got the call that he had been shot I just came home from doing 7 years in the Feds we were just together that day I could feel like something wasn't right I remember that day he told me to be safe we were on the bus together and when I got off he gave me a hug and told me to be safe I tried to get him to stay with me just thinking about this brought tears to my eyes we didn't even get to spend time with each other cause I just got out RIP Tino a young legend you are never forgotten the family truly misses you 😢

Thanks for y’all sharing your families story …, hits me hard to see all the pain we giving each other and already have the hardest path to financial stability and happiness , three of my fam made it out of sursum corda thx to a program to help families , moved them to VA and one own his own business , another doing IT work in Illinois and another is a physical therapist and has a side business as a personal trainer… proves that all we need is a helping hand up to help ourselves ! Peace to you and your family !

Thank you for doing what ur doing. I'm from D.C. born and raised. I left some years ago. There are some things I miss about it like the food/some of the culture but for the most part I'm happy I left. D.C. has always been violent and treacherous, especially for young people. We have to learn very quickly how to navigate everything/everyone around or it's a wrap. I love ur channel. Great job.

I love trying to find Old Pictures of DC from 1800's and early 1900's How parts used to look like and how it is now. I never knew that Kenilworth, Paradise all that Area was a Horse Racing Track

If you're referring to her mother's accent, that is not a DC accent. I would guess she's from the Caribbean. I'm born in NOLA, we moved to DC, and then I grew up living back and forth in both DC and NOLA. I'm currently living in DC. The two accents sound absolutely nothing alike. As a point of reference, the narrator at the beginning of this video has a DC accent.

If you talking about bruh with the camera's accent, that ain't a D.C. accent. He sounds like he may be a Lil slow, but I don't mean that as an insult! He actually sound like he from Baltimore. Other than that, D.C. and New Orleans are both very much alike. Both cities were murder capitals back n forth with each other. One year D.C. would have it, then New Orleans, and back n forth. Both cities have wards n shit, lol! Except D.C. niggaz don't identify with our ward, we identify with the neighborhood. New Orleans may identify by both the ward and the neighborhood! Both cities even have their own music that are both similar in origin. We are very much alike!

R.I.P Princess. This is truly heartbreaking. Also, let's be honest about why... they def watered it down, but I caught it... She was murdered because she went to the killer & let him know she was questioned by the police... was silent... and wanted payment to continue to be silent. And she was fiesty (as they emphasized) so it's possible it was presented in a 'if you don't' type of way... Talk to your kids about consequences and what not to do if XYZ. Be safe. 🙏🏼

The young man who was capturing everything on video must have had some real PTSD after seeing so much! I hope and pray that he has found some peace of mind through it all! He was truly a light in dark places during this era!
