One of the Most Dramatic Matches Japan has EVER Played !!! The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.
Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.[1]
Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.
They also failed to qualify for the 2014 FIVB World Championship the first edition they had missed in 54 years. They had previously won FIVB World Championship bronze medals in 1970 and 1974. Japan silver medalists at the 1969 and 1977 World Cup. Japan has been less successful in the World League era. The team has won the Asian Championships nine times and the Asian Games eight times.
In August 2021, at 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan advanced to the Quarterfinals round and eventually finished in seventh place, its best result in 29 years.

This is an amazing game because Finland is not a greatly ranked team. They gave a hard time to one of the world's leading teams - Japan - Ryujin Nippon!

from my opinion from this video, when Ishikawa having failed attempt on taking/scoring, and getting swapped with Tatsunori, I'm glad how Ran and other mentally themselves and winning the match.

ดูซ้ำ ใจก็ยังเต้นตุ๊บๆเหมือนเดิมนัดนี้😂😂 ใจจะวายจริงๆนะ แค่เซ๊ตนี้เซ๊ตเดียว มีทุกอารมย์เลย ญี่ปุ่นนำไปหัาแต้ม ถึงแต่มที่ 10 ช๊อตไปดื้อๆ ฟินแลนด์ปาดไปห้าคะแนนคืน มาถึงที่แต้ม12เลย ญี่ปุ่ต้องเปลี่ยนทัสโนริเข้ามาแทนกัปตัน เปลี่ยนมิอุระออกเอายามามูจิลง แต้มที่ 11 ก็มา แล้วก็ปาด ห้าแต้มคืนรวดเดียวจบเลย โดยการเสริฟ์ของโอเนระ และทำแต้มกลับของ ยามามูจิ นิชิดะ ตบท้ายด้วย รัน ทาคาฮาชิ ดร่าม่ายิ่งกว่าเล่นกับอียิปอีก กับอียืปเซ็ตสุดท้าย อียิปนำตลอดเขาไม่จอดรอก็เลยแพ้แบแพ้จริงๆ

In the third set seems like two of the hits from Ran went out of the court line and no block touched and the referee gave the point to Japan team.

The ball in/out has a hawkeye system. If there was no block touch, they could have challenged it. But if they felt the touch, they wont.

Title is misleading, how 15:12 can be called "One of the Most Dramatic Matches"? Good match, solid win. Dont clickbait people using that titles.

I mean its says “one of the most dramatic matches JAPAN has ever played”, not “ever”. Also considering that Japan won it after the Finnish were behind, managed to turn it around and turn it into a 2 points lead at the end of the 5th set, I think the title is acceptable.

I mean Finland is great and all but nobody thought they'd almost win. I mean they are up by 2 points in the 5th set against Japan. Impressive and would have been a very major upset if they won. But Japan managed to bring it back. It was pretty dramatic. But all the titles are exaggerated, lol.
