I wonder why most teachers do not suggest this kind of brilliant combinations more often to help us. The concept of dilemma, going left, or right, or conversely, having options, knowing that your opponent will always react to your attack, is a very efficient way to build a technique library. Thank you for this simple and yet amazing lesson that inspires me to play more half guard :-)

I'm an older white belt this type of stuff is so amazing the slow young guys down. I just started two months ago but the half guard has been working a very well for me.

Gosto muito de jogar na meia e a meia guarda depende muito de observarmos como nosso adversário vai reagir. Geralmente coloco o underhook e tento ir pras costas ou então arm drag pras costas. Caso o adversário resista muito ou faça whizzer eu parto pro raspa da meia profunda. Quando o adversário abre muito a base e quer ficar tirando o corpo dá pra ir da meia profunda por debaixo das pernas pras costas se você tiver um biotipo menor. Meia guarda é bom demais!
