What is ironic is that your father, who you did not know well, gave you the gift of that entire spiritual and physical journey which allowed you to discover yourself by bringing his ashes to the Ganges. Then it turned into your career as well. In a way, in a single gesture he made up for not being there during your childhood. I have lived a similar experience who often raised me through his absence. My eyes are opening to these beautiful ironies in life...

Thank you, Kamal : ) I had started reading Love Yourself upon a friend’s enthusiastic recommendation ironically right when I finally sat my squirming self down to write my next screenplay. You’d think I was pouring acid on me not doing what makes takes my breath away. Your question haunted me, prompted me, “if I loved myself, what would I do?” I had always gone by the litmus test question, “what would love do?” Which has been powerful. In this category. In this vulnerable place - tears welling, heart swelling as I type - the key is the ‘myself’. Not including that is safe to stay in a situation where I’m not loving myself. Not needing to go out my comfort zone. If I loved myself, I’d put down what I’ve created. I’d write my words. I’d jump into the story that’s already there waiting for me to love myself enough to tell it. So much gratitude for your role in opening this up for me. Divine timing in picking up your book after it sitting for months and then looking on you tube and hearing this where you share about writing. Many blessings, love - lots of sloppy self love and light to you.

I love India. It so soul stirring. Varanasi is a place and space out of time. Totally transformational. Wow what a story about your books. Way to go hanging in there and sharing your important lessons and path to help others.

This can also apply to getting a job... suppose there’s an organization you really want to work at but you didn’t get the job (despite numerous attempts at trying to work for that organization). Perhaps you need to build your skill set and experience by working in other roles first, and then... you may be hired by the organization you wanted to work at. It’s incredible how things tend to work out

I really needed to hear this right now.. As someone who recently went back to school to change careers, I also feel like maybe things will unfold in this new field.. Or... maybe I'll go into something completely different and then maybe because of that detour, something great will happen. I guess the lesson is: be open to detours and different paths.. Even if it's not the straight linear path you imagined for yourself. Sometimes those detours are the cause of an amazing journey. Thank you.. Please do more of these short video clips.

This is what is recently coming to light for people/children with Autism, instead of ABA therapy, does this work for people who are so late diagnosed, such as myself, with Asperger's and an INTP-T personality? Some of what you say is very interesting, but how do you utilize this to your advantage when social communication and a different perspective and viewpoint on life is the case? Do you know anyone with this type of disability that has used your method, being a person with moderate support needs, and succeeded?
