I like the paralelism with Architects. Both bands lost their lead guitarist on the highest point of their career at that point, so both made a videoclip which depicts the end of the world. The doomsday, and a nightmare. It's so poethic and I'm glad that, at least, they managed to create each a piece that lets us remember both Tom and Ryan

I’m forever thankful i got to see ryan live, i have severe social anxiety & the person i was supposed to go with had to cancel last min, almost didn’t go to the gig. ended up going, ryan was in-front of me almost the entire show. waved at him before they went on n he smiled n waved back, i screamed the lyrics at him & it was the best gig of my life, even got the setlist from ryan after their set. 😭 ever since that gig i found friends & my anxiety got easier to handle, if it wasn’t for polaris i would probs not be going to gigs at all. This one hit hard, RIP Ryan, we love you.

Man, Ryan's passing hit me harder than I anticipated. I literally met the dude for the first time when we were both seeing Sleep Token in Sydney just a few months back, than suddenly he doesn't exist anymore. Right when I was about to drift away from guitar his cover of Pale Aura and In Due time gave me more determination than ever and he was just a young kid then. This video is how he should be remembered by all; doing what he loved and F***ing slaying it.

First of all, and most obviously, RIP Ryan. You are forever immortalized among the greats, and you have saved more lives than you know. But fuck, man. This is what I love about metalcore. One second, you're crying a river with such a melodic and emotional part (seeing Ryan tapping that part was absolutely beautiful in the saddest way) and the next minute, you're smashed in the face with a brutal breakdown that you just lose your shit to. That is how Polaris wanted it to be, and so did Ryan. It's healing. This is what helps people get through shit. This is why we stand in line at shows and buy all the merch. It's why this strong community exists with some of the most amazing people on Earth. This music is saving people every second of every day. Thank you Nik, thank you Polaris, and thank you every single one of you that gets it and participates in this beautiful life we get the privilege to all share together. Tomorrow is never promised to any of us. So if you're reading this, I love you 🤘🤘

Rest in Peace. Metal isn't just riffs, it's got pain too. Some of the most influential songs I listen to are metal, hell, Lorna Shore has Pain Remains, and that hit hard too, and I don't listen to deathcore all that much. Just so tragic that we all get caught up in the "everybody else" and never look inside to ourselves, this is usually the result. People, please talk. It took me 23 years to finally admit I needed help myself before I went down this road, and I was headed down that path to hell just like Cornell, Bennington, and Siew. It's okay to struggle and feel bad.

I can't believe this, but I saw them in Belgium at Graspop Metal Meetup on 18 June. He passed the next morning. Enjoy your life folks, this is all very temporary. My thoughts to his family, friends, bandmates, and fans.

Man that's so sad. I tried three times over the last three years to see Polaris live and - mostly thanks to a fucking pandemic - it never worked out. The concert I finally thought would work was cancelled because of his untimely passing. This new song - and his legacy - is a fucking banger. So sad.

I've never heard of Polaris before but it's always heartbreaking to hear so many great Musicians lost too early and after looking up the band I saw he was the same age as me only 26 he still had his whole life ahead of him. May he rest in peace and forgive me if it feels shallow to say I don't mean it to be but know it can come across that way especially over text, but all the love to his Family, friends, and fans The song was great though and I definitely want to check out more of their stuff.
