I am lucky enough to have been able to see, touch, and (yes smell) all of Correa Creative models. #3 is my favorite! We have also purchased a few personal trays as gifts too. 👍👍👍

I don't know, to me it looks like he saw Open Sea Leather wallets, liked the designs a lot, and decided to make his own versions of those [Michael's] wallets. He even uses the same pictures of leather and thread options. Model 2 is a lot like 50/50 model, and Model 3 is a lot like The Topsider/Houbei. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong... But still, I like Open Sea Leather designs a lot more.

You can say that about damn near every wallet maker. They all look the same with just a few tweeks here and there. There’s only so many ways to make a wallet, but I think CC has a fairly unique style with some of the cuts as seen on the model 1.

@@ChrispyThings Man, a lot of wallet makers do a traditional billfold or card holder, a lot do coin pouches, etc. BUT some are real originals. Open Sea is original. Speakeasy is original. Willow Craft Goods is original. Some others for sure, too. The relevant case here is Open Sea.... so when you look at these, they really do look to be copying Open Sea. And you can't say Open Sea is copying someone else, so "can say that about damn near every wallet maker" doesn't cut it in this case. Dalibor is correct.

@@wagstaff6135 Yea after seeing Open Sea and fell in love with the design, I now see more and more similar wallets. I would not say copy but rather inspired because a lot of them have some uniqueness or different way. I really don't know if Open Sea is pioneer in such design concept but looks to me that they are the best. Anyway, having similar makers also good for people who can choose from more options.

Nothing beats Card Sleeve from Bellroy in my opinion. 3 years later and that’s my fave wallet of all time. Smallest and slimmest as well!

I just received my new wallet. Wow is all I can say. From the beginning I knew I would be happy. Francisco's attention to detail to everything from the packaging/presentation to the personal note. This is absolutely the reason we buy handcrafted personal wallets is for the details. The craftsmanship and details are second to none. I have ordered many very expensive wallets, some highly recommended by Chrispy, the they were just wrapped up in bubble wrap. Getting the wallet out was a challenge and I was afraid I was going to cut the wallet trying to get to it. Francisco did it right.

I like the model three, but I’m not a big fan of tuck-in flaps on a wallet. As far as colors, I love that olive and brown combination.

I just received the model 3 in tobacco and olive, similar to your model 1 you show here. It is pretty stiff, so it will have to be broken in. Any tips on softening up a new leather wallet?

Usually with a little heat. You can use the warm water trick

I change my edc almost everyday. But my wallets I’ll carry a few weeks at a time or even a month. I’ve carried the D’Avella more last year than any other wallet. I like them both for different reasons. And actually right now I’ve been carrying the Ashland Capone for the last 2 weeks. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So, I've watched a bunch of your videos and bought several wallets, love them all, 'no regerts.' The Houbei is one of the wallets that I own and I do love it, but I gotta ask, is there one you put over the other, Houbei or the Model 3? Thanks for putting out the videos to help making decisions easier!

Oh man you had to ask me that question huh! Honestly I can’t recommend one over the other. Both have a very similar style and function the same. Open Sea uses Buttero and Correa uses Pueblo. I feel like it comes down to which leather you like better.

Isn't it possible in model 2 to put in the cash without folding it so that it flaps close together with the flap, so lying closed above the cards?

Takes it like a champ 🤣🤣🤣 love it. Great review man. I've been wanting to get a made to order wallet for a while but haven't been able to settle on a brand yet. I've been carrying my D'Avella almost daily for over a year but Rob doesn't offer wallets with 2 colors like these wallets or OpenSeaLeather.......which is what I've been leaning towards. Suggestions????

Oh a week is nothing my friend. Small company, hand made wallets. Holidays. I ordered 2 wallets from Lost Dutchman and it took 5 weeks each time. Open Sea Leather about 3 weeks. I can go on

Just ordered the model 3 for myself. Was debating between this and the speakeasy one but since this one is a tad cheaper I went with this….probably will get the speakeasy later down the road anyways 😅
