Taka actually wrote C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h for nine of his good friends who are also working hard to make it in Japan's entertainment industry. The letters in C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h are the first letters of his friends' names. The message of the song is also dedicated to them; he wanted them to live their dreams and keep working hard, and he reminded them that they will always be friends with a strong history together. The second 'H' stands for Haruma Miura, a famous Japanese actor who took his own life recently (last month) at a very young age (30), may he rest in peace :((

Taka wrote this song for his friends and the song title is made up of their initials. The last H is for actor Miura Haruma who unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago (self-inflicted😢 RIP). "Dream as if you will live forever and live as if you'll die today" is one of my all-time favorite lyrics. So good. You should check out the music video for this too. The song basically talks about how they've gotten busy and can't keep in touch like they did before, but they'll always be connected and have a place that they can go back to together. The song this reminded you of is "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. OOR has been influenced by many Western artists so it's not surprising if their sound reminds you of others. Among their heaviest influences is Linkin Park. Perhaps someone has already told you previously but they were supposed to tour with LP in Japan and the U.S. While there are some very vocal fans who want OOR to go back to their heavier rock sound and don't like their English-heavy, more Western sounding tracks, I think one of the things that makes the band so great is that they're not bound to just one genre and play many different types of music. Not only that but play them all well.

This is one of my favorite "chill" songs of OOR. Add to that the deep meaning and inspiration behind the song, as what others have already mentioned. But after Haruma Miura's death (the last H of C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H.),the song just gave off a whole different feeling for me, like sadness and longing (Haruma is one of my favorite Japanese actors 😢. One whose smile you'd never thought hid great pain.). But hoping that he has finally found peace, and that Taka is coping up. 🙏 On another note, if you want to hear a different side of OOR, please try their mellow songs like Good Goodbye, Pierce, Et cetera, One Way Ticket, Take What You Want live versions. Also one of ny favorites, the live version of Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer. (I could go on but it'll take forever. 🤣) Again, thank you for your OOR reactions!! 🤍
