The kid in red dancing in Stand Out Fit In after the car crash is a Bian Lian (Face-changing in Chinese) performer, Bian Lian is part of the Sichuan opera, it focuses heavily on changing masks very, very quickly. I totally recommend looking up videos of it, it's incredibly mesmerizing to watch. The performer is his child self, you can even see his costume looks very handmade, and he is a direct tie to his past and everything he went through when changing himself as well as to the culture he left behind because he wanted to be accepted by a society that doesn't want or respect his real self. If you notice as his appearance changes to "fit in" the boy's masks also change, and I believe their moves when doing so is the move Bian Lian performers do when using one of the techniques to swaps masks.

There’s a whole behind the scenes of this song, with Ed Sheeran in it, how it comes about, etc. It’s really wonderful. Renegades is THAT song for me. The whole behind the scenes with Ed Sheeran is amazing, to watch it come together and to see Taka and Ed work together to make this masterpiece ia incredible. The Piano version of Renegades is out of this world, the vocals in both songs is simply amazing but to hear Taka go off on vocals with a piano is crazy. I recommend Take what you want ft 5SOS and Broken Heart of Gold. Broken Heart of Gold is a tear jerker for me, so a little heads up on that song if you choose to react to it, also with that song they did a bunch of mvs for it but they are kind of fan made videos, they do have an official visualizer/lyric video on their channel though. I cant wait to see them live as well, Im forcing my sister to go with me and she knows absolutely nothing about them haha. Its going to be a once in a life time experience and im so ready for it.

I love them so so much! I could cry everytime I listen to stand out fit in. Two of the songs I like the most are "broken heart of gold" (the lyrics are really beautiful but also sad) and "the beginning" it's one of their older songs.

I love stand out fit in but I didn't actually know the MV, I had just heard it and loved it for the lyrics cuz of how much we are all told completely opposing things we need to do in order to be "liked". It reminds me too of the way reactors are always being told they pause too much / should pause to talk, talked too much / didn't mention that part, react to this next / don't react to them, etc

i love love love one ok rock so much. they have so much power in their vocals and in their lyrics. their songs really are stadium anthems! also i don't know if you have seen it but they have a documentary on netflix. it does have some parts of songs in it you may not have heard yet but i highly recommend it!! i also think a few songs you should hear are bedroom warfare and the beginning

You are gonna love them. I went to their Brisbane Australian concert in a small ballroom with hundreds of people in 2020. What u hear on the albums is exactly what u will hear but better live in concert.

Ughh, I cry every time! Stand Out Fit In brings back a lot of bad memories of grade school. It's such a relatable song. Recommended songs: The beginning, Wherever You Are, Wasted Nights.... I could go on and on lol. All of their songs are soo good!

I had the chance to see them in concert before and they sound even better live. It’s incredible. You definitely won’t regret going to the concert in September. wow...this was so sad 😅 im decided id go along with you on this discovery journey so I'm prepped for the concert in October! i loved both songs and i thought maybe the 2nd mv would be lighter but indeed was worse >.< i had to pause because when i saw the i can't breathe sign at first it did not register until you said it out loud. its just crazy to think how angry everyone was at the world to now how even worse its gotten. Thats why like these songs and alternative artists sing are frustrations and make us want to change the world for the better that its possible. i don't have recommendations since I'm new to them, but when you react to live stages I suggest "Take what you want". One OK Rock's music uplifts powerful messages. Renegades was written during 2020/2021 and the struggles for equality and the BLM movement but right now it's totally applicable to the struggle and protests of women in Iran. Uplifting the power and the voices of young people will always be the point and promise of OOR. Their songs speak to the struggles of youth against the oppressors of society. Edit: Also as someone whose seen OOR live a few times....Taka's vocals are ANGELIC. This man was put on this earth to sing.

Would be great if you could react to both MV and live version of "Be the Light". The song was written in commemoration of a huge natural disaster that struck Japan in 2011. Might want to prepare tissue for this too. "The Beginning" and "Mighty Long Fall" would be perfect to lighten the mood because these live versions are just pure hype.

Wuhu another one reacts to my favourite band! So jealous you can go to a concert of them this year. Love your reactions! But for One Ok Rock you need to ALWAYS check out the live versions. The studio versions are just worse overall as all the emotion and all the energy that are in their songs cant really get through. They are by far the best live band for me personally and their stage presence and the messages they send with their songs is just on another level. Check out "We are" which i think you will really like. The 18 fes version of this is about a few hundred japanese that turned 18 and are now adults and sing and perform the song together with the band. The song is about the expectations societies have for you adults and all the pressure that lastson them when they are finally "adult".
