This was an event held for 18 year olds across Japan since the voting age changed to 18 from 20. As a band they selected 1000 people from videos of 18 year olds all over who showed any kind of dream/determination/energy/power an 18 year old has, to both show Japan that 18 year olds are old enough to make decisions, and encourage other teenagers to hold this new responsibility without being crushed by it. There are videos of ONE OK ROCK selecting the 18 year olds and watching them one by one, whilst Taka also gets inspiration for this song.

Actually, the audiences that performed with Taka of ONE OK ROCK were all 18 years old students came from different schools and prefectures .it was aired in National Tv NHK , they held an auditions searching for the 18 years old boys and girls with a talent and a dream of a future and with a strong determination. From 50,000 applicants only 1,000 will be selected. So all the boys and girls that were singing with the band are the students that Taka and the band collected. And the song that Taka had composed was the result of that search for 18 years old that year . And that’s why Taka titled it “, We are “ that’s it called ; The 18 years old Festival.

Great band. Taka has a great voice. I often follow the KZfaq channel of tomoya, the drummer. If you want to hear an incredible voice, listen to morissette amon. You won't believe your ears. I recommend you look, never enough on the Wish bus 107.5 fm radio. It's live😊

J-POP has its roots in rock in the United States and the United Kingdom. It has a long history. However, K-POP is an idol. They don't know rock. We don't write songs or lyrics ourselves. Shape it, learn to dance, and that's it. When I hear about rock historic music, I don't know anything. It's just an idol.
