As a young man I watched him play in most matches. In his playing days He meant business and was prolific and stylish on the field. From 1977 to 1983 was one of the golden era production of prolific of footballers in Ghana. Thos explains why black stars won 2 AFCNS within this period with 1982 one in style after the shortest preparation time before the tournament. Today we have football players but not footballers in Ghana. As Accra Hearts of Supporter I used to dread Opoku Nti. Black Star vs Zambia 1988, Accra stadium, for a strange reason he came in the second half to perform amazingly. The Zambia Manager after the match even commented highly on Opoku Nti's second half performance on that day and wondered why he was not started. Opoku ZICO , salute and respect for your continuous dedication and support for Ghana football industry.
