He answers interview questions exactly like Brayden Schenn, same breath patterns, same ahh's and obviously's. It's like all hockey players have the same media training

That's funny. My brother, sister, and I have this discussion about sports clichés. We always tease with take a shot for every time you hear in pre and post game interviews in any pro sport generally, yet for hockey... for example... "Get heavy on the forecheck." "Play a full 60." "Get pucks deep." "Got good looks."

I had to go back and rewatch this to tally it up: I've got about 73 Umms and Uhhs out of Drew there. I don't know what to uhh say about umm that.

DON'T LET KYROU RUN U OUT OF TOWN!!!

I was thinking along the same lines. If he can get Kyrou to attempt to backcheck or work hard, then it might get better.

@operatingengineer520 have you not watched any games this year? His transition from F2 or F3 to F1 on defense has been the best of his career.

I'm still pissed w/Army bc it's as much as his fault as it is Chiefs. However, I do wish coach Bannister all the best. Don't tell me why you can't, tell me why you ca n and do it... We got a taste of the Cup and we want more!... LGB

Chief should have fired Armstrong first.

Good luck with Kyrou. He only wants break aways and to never back check, fore check, and the only checking he does is cash his BIG paycheck.

Where's Doug Armstrong's compete level?

Has there ever been a more disliked coach walking into a Blues team? To no fault of his own but man Chief was so beloved by all so Drew/whoever takes over for the long haul has an uphill battle for sure. Best of luck for him and hopefully the Blues can get back to their game!

I don't think anyone dislikes Bannister. Don't construe that. Everybody thinks Armstrong firing Berube was horse shit and rightfully so.

Stupid comment of the day winner. Chief was done and needed to go.

Let's go coach! Fix the power play and we are a playoff team. Don't listen to the heckles from the blues fans. It's always hard to let go of the coach that won us the cup. Change was needed.

Not a blues fan but this was a dumb move by the organization getting rid of Berube, wasn’t his fault. Good luck though…..

Lifelong BLUES FAN..so I’m confused. CHEIF comes in wins our 1 cup, came back had a great yr until binner got hurt by the Avs in 2nd round seems like I hear compete n accountability…. How is that different from CHEIF? Armstrong does contracts not coaches… it is what it is I guess, but… next to go has to be Armstrong, unless it’s definitely paying off for us.

This group already cost one coach his job… Army will be quick to let you go too just to cover his bad decisions.

Does kyrou approve of this new coach. I wouldn’t want kyrou not happy with the new one.

Trade Kyrou. Thomas is their future; Neighbours, Hofer, Parayko are clearly the core to build or rebuild around moving forward.
