This used to be my favorite AMV… I was just a kid trying to figure myself out. It was a dark time for me. I watched this everyday thinking to myself one day this will pass and I’ll be happy. It’s been about 6 years…and I’m happy to say I made it. Thank you for the memories!

once you actually think about it luffy has defeated nearly all of his crew's demons and thats why they respect luffy and at the end when it says "some people give off love as naturally as the sun gives off heat" i thought about it and realized why luffy is a good captain same with old Shiro Hibe (White Beard).

I don't know if it's just nostalgia but One Piece back then was so much better than what it is nowadays. Like the overall animation felt/looked better, the emotions were not so stupidly overexaggerated and felt real and the Story had a much better pacing. I find it so sad that I can't watch or read the manga anymore from the anime that I grew up with, but AMVs like this just bring me back to the good old days

This might be one of the first amvs I’ve ever watched, when I had only begun to discover anime and internet and had caught up with one piece. and I still remember how I had downloaded it on my touch-tone phone and was watching it regularly because I loved it so much. And it made me discover the music as well. This was when I had little to no internet and old amvs were basically the only fandom stuff I had ever seen. I’m getting very nostalgic now.

This AMV and song changed my life. I first heard it when it came out nine years ago and lost my Grandma. Many years have past and I have since lost my parents as well. This song truly has helped me through all those dark times and always reminded me to make it to the Sunrise. Thank you for making this AMV with One Piece because they too went through dark times and pulled through. Amazing art.

This amv holds so much emotion in me! It's been three years since I started watching one piece and I'm with oda from 2years now. I'm waiting for a lot more episodes to come now so I can binge. One piece changed my life. And I'm so grateful for it. I just realised how much I loved one piece and Japan. And that love was beautiful. I hope I could go back to it. 😭

i keep coming back to this amv ever since i first found it, and it makes me feel such sweet emotion in my otherwise gloomy life. the song melds with the story like luffy melds with the "gum gum" fruit. i truly hope that when we find the dawn in the story that Roké will create a new amv with this song. it would slap so hard your eyes would pop out but go back in
