They are working during these so i doubt there are that much footage out there. Wasting precious shoot hours with fun isnt really something an actor should do a whole lot of.

(pushes nerd glasses up) well, ackshually.... he did complain about eating too much once. During his battle against Charlotte Cracker, whose Devil Fruit makes him create near infinite warriors made of biscuit, Luffy had to eat every single one of them for 12 hours straight, to the point he wasnt able to anymore. Nami was there to urge him to keep eating so Cracker couldnt attack with his biscuit warriors.

Uh… Have you read/watched Original One Piece closely? Nami cares A LOT about Luffy, at least post-Arlong Arc While she tries to hide it, Nami is the most loyal Straw Hat after Zoro, girl was literally willing to die instead of saying "Luffy will never become Pirate King" -- she ended up saying "Luffy will never GIVE UP UNTIL becoming Pirate King" (the change was apparently way more subtle in the original Japanese but that is difficult a.f. to translate)

How does watching a blooper reel make a movie feel more "realistic" when they literally show actors breaking character. It would have a completely opposite effect, and this is one of the major reasons why many directors choose not to include blooper reels at the end of their movies nowadays. They want to preserve the intended impact of their films and prevent distractions. Do you mean bloopers make movies feel more authentic?

The casting is seriously so good, their acting really uplifts the series. And their bonding off-screen is so wholesome. One Piece is really really hard to adapt in Live-Action, but with a cast like this, I want this series to go on for at least 8 seasons, even if they skip some of the storylines.

@@Danne89 I wonder if it was BECAUSE everyone knew One Piece would be nearly impossible to adapt to LA that the showrunners (prodded by Oda-sensei of course) decided to genuinely give a sh!t. I don't think anyone thought OPLA would be good, me included, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out so I'm also looking forward to Season 2. The casting has been on-point so far -- hoping that stays true for my girl Robin!

I wasn't convinced this was a good idea, but seeing these bloopers it just feels so right. The actors are having fun, the mood is so much like OP, these don't feel like acting on set, but documentation of these characters being themselves. Nice. (Nice.)
