Super thankful for this video, playing Moria myself and I completely agree on the Perona matchup. Only thing I can say is Borsa and Sabo are your 2 best friends cuz they stop Perona from dropping Ryuma or X.Drake to K.O. They still have 6c Brook which plays around it but I would say you end up just having to be more reactionary in the MU cuz anything you play, they rest and K.O. 4c Perona is a must for targeting hand and you kinda just have to do the best you can to just aggro them down while getting rid of blockers like Rosinante with Absalom.

I would say u can't develop the first 3 turns , perona is the only thing u dont lose value, focus purely on removal cards for mulligan, and ofc 8drop ftw

So, the first 3 turns you're just swinging at lead with Moria? Not sure if that's what you're saying. Or are you saying you're just drawing and passing turn instead of attacking or playing any characters that would get rested and KOd?

Perona turn 2 against perona is almost auto win. Either they let it keep hitting or they ko it just for you to replay it and eat their hand away

My friend is playing perona while I’m playing Moria and I have won more games against him than he’s won against me, and my losses were mainly due to hand being bricked or not being able to draw what I need. Doffy hurts but I’ve pushed through 2 in 1 game and still won

Perona mu is not that bad if u go second. Throws off their curve significantly and u can build board before they have a chance to just 1 for 1 everything.

I like this video... my one question I have and a problem ive ran into is how do you deal with kikunojo if you rush down to 3 life vs kata...Its felt pretty bad to me so far because i have to just leave a 6k attacker or i have to give them a life

Try to stay at 4 life if possible for as long as you can if you see Kikunojo. If you can't, then she has to be dealt with. If you leave her there she will attack your board or life over and over. It is definitely challenging to play against if they start hitting their triggers.

One question, I would play with Moriah Navy, the list is very similar to the one you posted recently, the only difference is that I added one more borsalino. My question was about Hina, is she very necessary? the Deck is already so complete, you said in the video that in the mirror match her combo with Absalom is a priority, how should I do it?

Also can you explain why this deck wants to lose life early? Is it to make up for the leader ability?

Basically you’re not swinging w your early units in some matches so this will direct them to swing at your life allowing you to farm for 2k counters for mid/late game when you’ll be actually trading characters or defending from lethal and this strategy doesn’t work for sakazuki because he’s a 4 life leader so way more riskier so 2/3 ideally but 2 optimally

I never lost to a perona with gecko but maybe my opponents misplayed a lot

Testing perona, you punish moria for relying on 4 costs. The gecko matchup is supposed to be heavily favored but sometimes you are just missing the pieces. I think I lost to gecko once. But on the sim I have seen way too many perona players misplay
