The crew should be named “The Brick Pirates” in honor of Barry D. Brick. Captain William is as dense as a brick. Duros’ armor is as strong as a brick. Ragnar is as tall as a brick wall. And Verona is as still as a brick. Pearl hasn’t drank the sake cup yet but her color is similar to a brick.

Decided I would just do this on each episode: William “Hit and Run” Emanon “Witness” Verona “Grizzly” Duros “Ragnarok” Pearl “in Boots” Notes: On the epithets: -Epithets are based only on the events of the episode,. - William's should be fairly obvious. Between Little Timmy and the Old Man, he's a man without commitment, he goes in, he kills someone, he leaves. Fairly simple, but fitting (and kind of badass) -Verona's is based on three key events: first, stealing the letter relating to Marrow's crimes, then being witness to William's crime, and finally, the hilarious idea that he's a door-to-door assassin (Jehovah's witness). Also, again, "Witness" is kind of badass. - Duros didn't do much, his epithet is simply based on his battle with Poly. I wanted to give him a name that evoked "bear" without being overly direct. -Ragnar also didn't do too much. This is simply the name William accidentally calls him, the name given to the Navy when they ask around (theoretically). -Pearl's really doesn't need explanation, does it? Meta Notes: Fell in love with this series, I'll do this for each episode, and will even retroactively add notes to the previous episode. I enjoy coming up with these, so I hope you all enjoy reading them. This one came up late since I wasn't initially planning on doing this, but for those who do notice, feel free to look for these in the comments of each new episode.
