how i can see in a game mechanic way to level up Williams devil fruit from now to level 9 let Tekking see more and more of the random devil fruit list this will not help him in combat but it will help in the next phase and at level 9 he just get a copy of the list level 10-19 William unlocks the ability *rigged the wheel* where Tekking get to choose a part of the random devil fruit list so instead of rolling a D410 he can rolle a D100 on any 100th on the list so he rolle a D100 on the first 1-100 or 101-200 or 201-300 or 301-410 i don't know how you will level this like at level 15 he may only need to rolle a D50 or something BUT at level 20 (if it ever happens) Awakening fruit and he unlocks the ability *the house always wins* he can now choose what ever he want on the list this is overpowerd as all hell but this IS an Awakening fruit AND level 20 soooo this is not perfect but it's as good as i can think off

Are the episodes getting progressively funnier or is it just me?

To make the name dropping thing easier, you could go full Oda and, after giving a few physical and characteristic descriptors, anounce the character's name, title and possible bounty as a narrator, like the Oda-boxes the author uses himself. It would do away the confusion of continuously describing a character in combat, and let the players know who and how dangerous an NPC is. You can control the drama with it as well, like building Cpt. Marrow up slowly (much like you have been doing) and work towards the moment of the name drop. And it would be a great tool to build up a larger villain for the campaign, and then finally, at the final encounter: Vice Admiral Tinfoil Watergate - First General of the Southern Calm Belt Patrol Unit -... Or something like that. Also, thank all of you for providing a D&D enthousiast with some entertainment during these trying times where Critical Role are on hiatus. I feel huge potential coming from this group and am enjoying the natural progression I recognize from many a long running campaign I have played in. "It's the Bounce Bounce fruit! The Yogi Pooh is now a bouncy castle!" But really, technical issues are somewhat expected when it comes to these things, so maybe it actually would pay off to have a small list of filler arcs you can pull at any time. You can totally have missing players being played by someone else too, considering filler often feels like a character's personality is a bit off too.

Rustage here has some good variety in voice acting, he does two voices that are almost similar, but the fact that they aren't the same voice is quite impressive. It's hard to not slip into the other voice by accident. Also congrats on being the first dnd podcast to make me cry a bit.

I hope they'll release a "players handbook" of this version cause i'd really love to play this with the devil fruit system and everything else to come. Haki and Rokushiki maybe?🤷🏻‍♂️. Other races would be also cool, like minks, fishmen and merefolk, long legs, long arms, long necks i guess, tontata and sky people

Trekking at the end of the day before long sleep he should use his fruit so he could maybe get something that is not tied to the fruit usage and can be used on a later date, for example the eating fruit, he could upgrade the gear with the "new" materials that fruit can create, or a fruit that will allow him to spy from far away in an instant and allow advantage in next combat, or something like the gas gas fruit that allows him to make potions, grenades and enhance weapons with different properties (in special the bullets), or maybe something that can create a device or potion of healing, that he can use on Adam's sister and/or have for later date usage etc.
