My headcanon is that Duros armors fruit is the Mythical Wepwawet, the Egyptian God with a Wolf head he acts as scout protecting the armies so they can proceed. An his name means "Opens the Way" which is perfect since he protects you from incoming attacks.

He should be able to store 1 of each type. But if he decides to store the DF he has to sacrifice 1 of his df uses for the day. And if he does not utilize the df in 1 week it goes away and he can then store another 1

except getting 1 out of 8 weapons is pretty consistent and you can plan ahead, but tekking has 430 plus outcomes. So you can say it's a real gamble.

I have actually been drawing bits and pieces of the One Piece DnD campaign in manga form between my uni classes and projects, but nothing to the quality of what return to reverie is, or even what I would post on my twitter. With time, I was actually hoping to send what I had to you guys, but I don't think it's on the level of showing quite yet.

A small correction for Rustage if he happens to read this, Magical Damage just ignores resistance if the resistance in itself says magical damage surpasses it, which is not the case for the barbarian's rage, so he still resists magical slashing, piercing and bludgeoning.

So just to point out something about Barbarian rage. In 5e RAW, there is no restrictions on resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage when in rage. Even if it's a spell or magic item, but it does one of those damage types, you are still taking half damage. Jeremy Crawford even confirms this. Rustage can rule it how he wants, but RAW, Ragnar would be resistant to magic damage of those types.

Not like I’d ever want this series to end, but when it does would you ever entertain the idea of campaigns in different series? I really liked the jojos reference and duros’ new stand. I also wouldn’t mind seeing other references within this campaign. One way or another the series is great and I can’t wait for more. Glad to have this.

Rustage already said he had plans to do other series in DnD in the future. Whether he uses these same guys though is uncertain. There'll probably be a change up in the cast for the next one. If we do see any of the current players return, it'll probably be Briggs or Tekking, since Tekking is already all in on DnD while Briggs seems to be really getting into it.

I love the idea of William's Advance Observation being so great he can see into the Future and can tell which DF power he will draw so he can choose if he wants to use the power in the situation or not. Although to balance it he will be stuck with that power until he uses it or 24 hours have passed.

Since around episode 4 I have been always waiting for the next episodes the day they are streamed. I cannot put into words how much fun this series have been even when I don't care about DnD at all. This year have been pretty rough, especially for me with other stuff going on but I always get so happy watching these sessions. In a small way reminds me when I got into One Piece when I was very little, where I really loved this tiny crew bizarre adventures and just wanting them to sucess. I hope this series keep strong for a long while since I legit love the characters and these adventures so much.

I don’t know how common this is for DM but I love how rustage is part of the game because he playing as pearl who is basically a official player at this point. Maybe pearl can elevate to god status or have extreme future sight because she got “god” playing her

I think the unofficial term is GMPC (gamemaster player character) and they can be hit or miss, I'm guessing Pearl will eventually unlock that full dragon form she used in episode 3 which stats-wise will probably be a Young Red Dragon. Young red dragons have a bit more than double current Ragnar's health, three normal attacks per turn and a massive flame thrower attack that needs 5-6 turns to recharge. Right now Pearl would be the strongest member of the crew if she could control that form, however 2-3 levels from now when they start getting haki she wouldn't be OP.

Did a 3 year campagin from lvl 4 to 18. It was freaking amazing having a lvl 15 drunken master monk / level 3 battle master fighter half orc with tons of crazy magic items and potions. And now the DM started a new campagin 15 years later in the same world with the same group and im so hyped.

I always had the idea that, if William were to ever get an awakening, it would allow him to have the awakened devil fruit power of the fruit the roulette points to. That way it's powerful and still has the randomness to it.

With tekkings devil fruit I think it would be fitting for him to add another use of his lucky feat to use one of his luck points to roll again and get to choose. IRL this gives tekking a little more control but in world it’s just another example of Williams luck

Honestly Briggs if you ever read this since that was my question you kind of answered to. It's totally fine to make characters kind of loosely based on yourself if not a bit exaggerated. Cause that is the kind of things newbie players tend to do when this is their first time playing, and that's fine! You are learning the ropes and all. Plus IMO, the 4 main players I do feel like took some inspirations from themselves and incorporate that into their designs. I even joke how your characters look like the players sometimes. So no need to be embarrassed.

@Sage of All knowing Now that the One Piece anime is almost caught up to the manga ... they could reach to Rustage and the crew to make a mini series to be like a temporary placeholder until ODA has more chapters available compared to the anime... so there would be no problems there... But the censorship will be heavy with this one.

If they're afraid of copyright, they wouldn't be able to use the "One Piece" as part of the animated series name.. plus the logo/ font would have to be changed. Plus call it something other than "devil fruit"

If I were to escalate William's power without taking away the randomness of the roll, I would include a betting system. Before making his roll, Tekking would try to guess what sort of result comes up, and proportional to the odds of him guessing correctly, he would get a bonus when he's right. For example: If he guesses the type of Devil Fruit correctly, the fruit's potency goes up. Paramecia by a little, Zoan by a moderate amount, and Logia by a good amount. If he guesses the number he'll land on, it affects his duration depending how close he is. An hour if he guesses with a 100 range, a day if it's within 20, and he just gets to keep it until he rolls again if he gets the exact number. Or maybe, just to up the betting theme, he can guess for a chance of winning extra rolls to use.

I do like that. Would also like to say that there could be a major penalty if he is just way off, which does lead back to the spirit of gambling and being lucky with the powers he lands on. It also doesn’t mess with the fundamentals of the powers drastically, since William could just not do it.

@@jacobfoxfires9647 Yeah, there's probably a penalty too, but I wasn't sure how to set the parameters. Maybe if he's far off on the range, or it lands on a certain category of fruit depending on what he guessed. I guess the penalty would be losing extra rolls or a power nerf.

While it is interesting, I don’t think it would be able to. It seems like what he animates has the same knowledge as Verona. So it wouldn’t really know what kind of fruit an animated Devil Fruit is. At least from what I gathered.

I don't think duros is fit for conquerors haki. That person needs to have a "kings will". They need to be strong willed, bold, don't bow down or follow just anyone unless they respect you, and slightly reckless. Duros seems to be ok with following someone instead of ruling. He is very kind and noble like a knight bit he doesn't seem to have that "thing" that you need. I could kind of see william or ragnar with it. People can multiple haki types.

I wish that after they kill devil fruit users like Marrow, Valve, Timber Lord and the Shark guy that they would search the area nearby for thier devil fruit. I mean they killed Marrow and Valve in the Tariko castle im pretty sure their fruits would be in the castles kitchen or wherever they keep their produce lol. They could at least get the fruits and sell them for alot of money...... Or give one to that Cereal dude......poor guy needs all the help he can get.

Their characters don't know about the devil fruit reincarnation cycle, so it wouldn't make too much sense for them to stop everything and look around for a couple hours for a devil fruit

I mean first: It is not even confirmed that devil fruits HAVE to regenerate nearby after the user dies. And second: How would the devils luck pirates know about this? They basically just found out that devils fruits aren't just ledgends. It would be really out of character if they started searching for the devil fruits.

If you want to power up Williams devil fruit, I don’t think you lessen the chance/luck aspect of it, but actually lean into it even more. So you don’t give him the ability to choose from say 3 different fruits, but instead maybe he can choose to “Raise the Stakes” and he rolls with higher stakes, where he could either get a pretty good devil fruit, or a really really terrible one. The pool for this could be determined by the devil fruit itself, being at it has access to every devil fruit, it would know all about them too probably; so it could calculate what are the best and worst based on things like how many times a user has awakened it, if it ever has been awakened, how long each average user had it (if it’s useless they would may die quickly), the capability of being very strong in any scenario, and stuff like that. So the fruit lowers the selection pool, but the fruits to choose from could either be really good, or absolutely terrible. Now I know that in one piece a theme is that any and every devil fruit has the possibility of being great, but there are ones that are objectively better than others. Ace’s mera mera and Akainu’s magma fruit is a prime example where one is just fundamentally better

The roulette wheel physically appearing on William's body and then having to spin it is such a ONE PIECE thing. P.s Tekking legitimately forgot that William never actually gave little timmy the spoon.😂

Rustage mentioned early in the video that that might be a possible power up for William's devil fruit but it would be game-breaking so I doubt its happening any time soon.

@@armaangoraya6007 I don't know that it would be gamebreaking. Because no matter how many powers Tekking has active, he's only got one action and one bonus action each turn. Maybe out of combat it would just give him more versatility in some situations, but I can't imagine it would get too insane.

It’s up in the air ATM. And we might not worry about that in the near future. But as he gets better I can see Rustage settling on some extra things for the power that could make it work. Cause Rustage has been back and forth with what he wants to do with William’s powers. He once said his evolution would be manipulating the pool of powers but here he said he doesn’t want to do that. So for now Rustage is still deciding.
