shades dressrossa is easily one of the best arcs to come out of any anime, you're just being contrarian. It may have a lot of episodes but the pacing was perfect, a large chunk of doflamingo screen time was in almost every episode which made it one of the more interesting arcs to watch.

Yes it was too long, and the animation in the anime was horrible. That is why I dropped the anime at Dressrosa and only read the manga ( until Wano, were the animation was becoming great )

I read the manga every week and this arc still one of the best in the new world.

"Too long" for me is dragging out events with characters I don't know, and wasting the time that could be used to flesh them out by instead repeating the same flashbacks ad nauseum, otherwise known as "Marineford". That's where I personally dropped the series a few years back. Now that I'm back into it I had much, much more fun with Dressrosa, despite it being more than thrice as long. Dressrosa had significantly less wasted time with the vast majority of characters having their own story and/or purpose, even if that was just lending an extra hand (or leg) to the fights at the end. I can overlook sub-par animation if the story is there, and this arc had _a lot_ of story to it.

@@dragonoverlord2010 I guess it's more enjoyable when you can watch in one go. But when I had to wait every week to see an episode with bad animation and a story that seems to never end, I was like "nope, I'll keep it to the manga only" lol

Dressrosa is the arc that most deserves the remake and - if we ever get to it - the live action adaptation. The content is amazing but the potential is even more so because the execution was so poor - even from the manga to an extent. This arc deserves a fully unhinged, well-written, MA rated adaptation that doesn't hold back and isn't afraid to show how brutal everything is, plus showcases some of the important characters who were unfortunately sidelined in favour of other, completely unimportant/boring characters.

Editing has A LOT of requirements to it, and just to be able to edit like this for most comes down to a lot of money on equipment, a PC needs to be able to handle it so you can get down to every little thing. Some AMVs you see with mass amounts of editing are actually done by several people. This one looks solo, but there are some out there with like 4 or more people who did it. And sometimes editing like this isn't need to make it Epic, like the Boom Lay AMV for One Piece tells a story, which makes it awesome.
