When I started watching this I knew nothing about the story. I only knew it was a manga and an anime series. This series absolutely blew me away. Now this is one of my favorite shows and the music is soo good

I was worried about Live action compared to anime but this bangs! Also nice to see a nod to the first opening from the anime which has been a classic for us OP fans for over 25 years. Glad to see more new fans coming to the world of One Piece. It makes me happy that Oda is getting more fans. This is the best story ever made!

2:20: Just that simple play-around on the main theme's melody to create a lasting impression for that barrel scene segment is the best definition of 10/10 I can think of. If you think about it, it sounds like a combination of the main theme and Nami's theme.

What is it about pirate themes that makes them so great? The One Piece theme is just about as great as "I'm a Pirate"... Seriously, this is an absolutely amazing interpretation !!!

After I saw one of my all time favourite works of fiction butchered with Cowboy Bebop I held no hope for this adaptation, but it was amazing . Even as a life long anime fan, this show introduced me to the amazing world of One Piece. I'm hooked. I like dark anime like Madoka Magica, Made in Abyss, Attack on Titan... but One Piece just feels so good, so joyous.

"We Are" ist für mich der beste Anime-Song, egal ob gesungen oder instrumental in allerlei Versionen. Ich hab Gänsehaut bekommen, als sie es in der Netflix-Serie abgespielt haben, weil es auch unerwartet war (in Episode 4, bei Episode 8 hab ich dann damit gerechnet haha).

This live action is the best adoptation EVER. It has the feelings and themes that the source material elao have. The characters, soundtracks, backstories, beutyfull and amazing. Some I shed a tear or three to. F. Eks. When Sanji said goodbye to Zeff, that rippe My heart out seriously. Of cause at last a fucking emotionel, beutyfull and epic ending to a season. I Mean, I went crazy when I heard "We Are". I can see that I wasen't the only one thinking and screaming to Myself "FUCK YES! THE STRAWPARATS!"

oh definitely, in the original POTC lore (before it stupidly got retconned in the 5th movie), Jack Sparrow initially worked for Beckett as a helmsman for his cargo ship, but one day he finds out that the cargos he's been delivering were slaves, so he betrayed Beckett, freed those slaves and become a pirate because he hates how the world's work, his philosophy is basically in lined with Luffy's
