The story and world building feel authentic to the series. Digging up extra information about the lore of the story feels as rewarding as digging it up in the manga or anime. The other elements definitely leave a lot to be desired but the combat is pretty engaging imo. Just wish we had more of other characters

It may not look like much and be a 7, but I'm sure it's the best One Piece game released on the consoles in probably the last 5 years. I've purchased many of the One Piece games (on deep discount of course) and none of them blew me away. This one hitting different

I'm enjoying the game a lot so far! The combat, crafting and leveling has been very enjoyable for me. Just wrapped up the Eines Lobby Arc and can't wait for what's next!

@@firdausmuhammad5667 2 very different games, can't really compare them, Pirate Warriors gives a great summary experience of the show with fun combat, meanwhile Odyssey gives a more unique standalone experience while sticking to some big story beats from the show with interesting but easy turn based combat

The game is very generous with equippable items that make you stronger or buffs, level ups ect. Just dont overpower yourself and balance the game to your liking.

@@Darksider087 boring and lazy way to fix it. turn based RPGs should be based around selecting the right skills and equipping the correct gear for the situation. purposefully gimping yourself so the game isn't a walk in the park is not really a great way of doing things...

@Darksider087 that's like half the fun menu surfing and playing with the equipment buffs. Even if the difficulty patch is a simple slider like 50% enemy attack/defence buff that would be nice so that you really need to play the weaknesses. (Increased rewards too like an Xcom game)

A fan of the show not a fan of turn based especially on a one piece game...like almost every reviewer from big to small have all agreed on, the game is too easy, so this is not a pickup for afew reasons honestly. Might get it on a big sale like all the other one piece games go for, I'll get it at $10 digital or $20 physical in the future not sure.

This game was so garbage. The turn based gameplay doesn't fit well with One Piece in my opinion & I'm a die hard fan for over 14 years . If they took some mechanics from Jump Force & the Naruto games they could've made this game a hit. These turned based stuff has me falling asleep halfway through a playthrough . So boring .

Cant really blame the game for the difficulty most rpgs are easy these days, pokemon being the worst offender, one solution is being able to refight boss battles at extreme difficulties for rare op items/extra cutscenes etc. thats leaves an easy game for kids to not quit on, but something for older fans to challenge themselves with

lack of difficulty in modern day video games is one of the things that's making me lose interest in the vast majority of them... there was a time when dark souls difficulty was the norm.... now everything is dumbed down to where my grandmother could beat it one handed... games that don't make you have to earn your victories, through skill acquisition and problem solving, are just not worth playing.
