i still remember what it was like to read/watch mariford arc the first time. We have been watching luffy overcome pretty strong foes, coming through with sheer force of will, and we thought we had the scope of this world. Then came Whitebeard, and we saw how GODS do war. Its like Hawkeye said... "frog in the well". Seeing him punch Akainu so hard that his fist distorted reality was just... My jaw was on the floor.

If Whitebeard had come there to kill them all he could have done it with ease even his sick 70+ year old body had more then enough power there is a reason they call him the Strongest Man in the World or The Man with the Power to Destroy the World. I am sad that we got to see so little of Him in action would really like him getting his Own Movie or even a Spinoff Series about Rogers / Whitebeards Generation.

I'd love to see see a movie on the god valley incident and everything else old gen! But I do agree to some extent, I think if he wasn't holding back due to his crew being on the field, it wouldn't been far worse for the marines, but I do think he would've died still. The admirals held back too and if they all teamed him, they woildve won

Hello my OnePiece Fans.... I love the anime and i understand that the main character in One Piece is Luffy, but in the Marineford war the main action is about saving Ace from certain death and after 80% of the pirates in the Whitebeard armada losses their lives in trying to save Ace.... WHAT THE F...K DOES THIS GUY DO??? SACRIFICES HIMSELF FOR A DADDY INSULT.... Don't get me wrong.... I understand the point of view from Ace but REALLY??? Looking at the bigger picture i understand that Oda had to make a bridge for the transition from the old pirates to the new pirates but DAMN.... this jaw breaking moment was to hardcore and emotionally upsetting....
