He wasn't hydrophobic, he ate his food and drank water even after the biting incident, his voice was normal on the 2nd day, he wasn't shivering like infected dogs, he reacted to his call name. The only suspicion we had was of him getting poisoned by our we beloved relatives cum neighbours.
