Even though we may never know who first wrote this, we can admire how true it is. It perfectly sums up what OPM is all about, its a great story about some dude who is way too strong.

Saitama's strength represents what we can achieve if we put our minds to it. Saitama loosing his hair and emotions/ humanity represents that everything comes at a cost no matter how great or small it may seem. Saitama being C Class Hero has two meanings: 1) People judge us too soon and based on a small portion of the bigger picture 2) Even with everything you ever wanted, you feel like you're life is stuck in a bottomless pit you can't get out of. Saitama only uses a small percent of his power because not even he himself understands the god like powers he been gifted with represents that we don't understand our true potential with what we have. Saitama being misunderstood and rejected from society represents our struggles with the outside world of wanting to be accepted and understood while trying to become who we are. Saitama not wanting Genos to be his disciple and only seeing him as an acquaintance represents us pushing away the people closest to us and rejecting help as we have to duel with the cruelties of the world. Saitama's interaction with Boros represents us trying to find acceptance and common ground. There's many more metaphors in this anime and idk how to explain the final fight, but I'll edit this comment when I understand the metaphors of the fight. But from my metaphors, we're all Saitama because we all want to be excepted and understood, but our internal struggles prevents us from connecting with people, being hard to understand, and not even understanding yourself. In the process, you go crazy, emotionless, and loose everything and your hair. Even if you find someone with the same problems, the internal struggles continues to grow, pushing them away and you still don't understand what you're capable of.

This analisis is almost perfect. It doesnt explore the monsters origin, because is anime... is like standard to have monsters. But if you analize them, what they always says, etc... Maybe the hero association is just the EVIL! in the series, and Saitama que most evil being to defeat. I said this because, every monsters always says things like, i came from the earth, the nature that is balancing the world from the corruption of humans. So... the monsters maybe they are monsters for US... but in reality... the monsters are nature response to the human infestation!! and Saitama is the peskiest of all! jajajaja This anime is so, so god damn good... in every way... The complicated and yet simple to understand history, from wich some can argue some very intrincate analisis and other just... want to see monster being obliterated from existance from a weird looking dude with cape... The soundtrack with those rock and fast beasts, and very ealaborate tunes, the OST is a MASTERPIECE... the drawing, tha drawin styl change frame to frame, i love the way saitama face change when is game face is on. I still cannot forget the way it just chews sonic sword... like is nothing from him. The history behind the heroes, the down to earth super powerful guy... the jokes like King's engine! jajajajaja. This anime... is out of this world, one of the best i have ever seen... and is weird because ... it looks like the original idea is to be a parody.
