The last great age lasted from the mid 70s to the early-mid 90s in my opinion. Around 1995-96 the quality started to drop because visuals were wanted more than an engaging storyline. Sad really that people started losing there way.

Pure nostalgia. Takes me back to my childhood. When I was a carefree 10 year old kid whose main concern was pizza, cartoons, toys, and video games. I didn't have to worry about a job and paying bills. Those were the days. I'm 26 now. Anybody know where l'm coming from?

Yes, I know you're around 29 years old right now, but I'm 21 years old and I do know what you're talking about. I vaguely remember this but I was mostly in daycare, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten when this block was on WSB-TV Atlanta, GA (my local ABC station when I was growing up.)

I remember I watched this the first day it was created. Me and my bro would sit in front of the TV and watch all 5 hours of it. Such good memories. And this intro was (and still is) pretty darn awesome. Thanks for uploading it.

The nostalgia is real..... If they would run this now, exactly as it was back then, with all the same shows. I would shamelessly watch it faithfully EVERY SATURDAY. Just like I did back then.

Yes it is true, the nostalgia factor is real, in a since, I hardly remember the 90s but I do remember 1 Saturday morning, bill nie the science guy, fox kids, cartoon network, and magic school bus. Also the CGI looks good today. I whish the building and the Quailman variant of Doug is in Disney infinity. I know is a long shot but please Disney!?

I never had cable in my house. and i never thought I missed out on amazing Saturday cartoons because i had One Saturday Morning and Kids WB. My brothers and I would wake up at 7am to make sure we watched EVERY cartoon show( we hated when it was daylight saving mornin' cuz it screw us up with the shows we wait all week for)!!! I have Beautiful Memories of us watching them together with pillows and blankets to make a fort in the living room. My brothers and I are really close so I'm happy we have childhood memories like these.Today don't see one descent show on Sat. not one and Disney channel has changed Soo much i don't recognize it anymore. times have changed soo much!! but i'm happy to have grown up with One Saturday Morning,

+CountryGirl I didnt have cable from ages 5 to 7 and I too did not feel like I missed out at all. I miss Kids WB, Pokemon (Back when it was good) was LITERALLY the best show for kids in the late 90s early 2000s. Then other shows like cubix,osmosis jones,static shock,jackiechan adventures,hysteria, animaniacs,superman,batman beyond etc. R.I.P Kids WB Then at around 8 I got cable, and those were good years too, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. BACK WHEN THEY WERE GOOD I remember switching between the channels during commercials and trying to decide which of the 3 to watch lol Usually Cartoon Network would win

I was born in 1984 so I was already 13 years old when this came out. But 1 Saturday Morning was 1 last hurrah for me to enjoy Saturday morning cartoons for 3 more years. I'll always remember doing my Saturday morning paper route at 6 in the morning and coming home to watch Doug, Recess, and the Weekenders.

I'm 27 and this literally brings tears to my eyes. Waking up to the smell of sausage, bacon and maple syrup cooking, and watching these shows, then playing outside like Kids are supposed to. Unlike Kids these days with the facebooks and technology...being an adult sucks... I don't wanna "adult" anymore 😢 I wanna build a fort In the living room, go inside of it and eat a bowl of fruit loops

Yes my grandparents were big on Saturday morning big breakfast feast we watched cartoons ate breakfast and went with my aunt or whichever adult we were with to the mall and to run errands

This brought back so many good memories that i seriously got teary eyed waching it....I can just remember getting up with a bowl of the best cereal and loving every minute of One saturday morning...it was like the best part of my week every week for a long time...wow.

I’m 35 so I seen a lot of Saturday morning greatest from Fox Kids Rock Kids!!!! Lol with X-men, Bobby’s World and Spider Man leading the charge, CBS Saturday Morning with the likes of Garfield and TMNT 89 leading the way, NBC with Save by the Bell and Bill Nye the Science Guy, later on WB kids with of og Pokemon, Animaniacs, and their DC comics lineup like Batman and Superman, Static Shock, and Teen Titans, and of course ABC and there Disney theme shows with One Saturday Morning being pretty much the last hurrah. My kids gets everything handed to them now with Netflix, Hulu, and Disney plus nowadays. They will never know the thrill of waking up early on Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal and actually having to wait on your favorite shows. The 90’s and early 2000’s were amazing times to be a kid.

For me being 21, I TRULY miss One Saturday Morning. The only reason I wake up early on a weekend and be on time. Man things changed since then. If there were a Disney throwback channel, I would love to see this promo every time it shows, whether it be for commercials, or show it everyday. I'll shamelessly never get tired, irritated or annoyed by how many times they'll show it.

Wow I'm 27 and I will always cherish One Saturday Morning on ABC 7 Chicago. I also watched Kids WB on WCIU 26 the U ah the memories of getting up on Saturday and Sunday mornings and getting my breakfast ready and just sitting down and watching cartoons. I still remember getting into Pokemon on Kids WB. I still remember what time it was on. Pokemon was on at 11:00 AM in the morning and later on during the run when Yu Gi Oh came around it was on after Pokemon at 11:30. Sometimes they would skip Yu Gi Oh completely when Pokemon had something special on like movies or specials. I will always cherish them forever and being Pokemon was my first time seeing a anime on TV I will always have a spot in my heart for Pokemon. You see I used to watch shows from Hanna Barbara Disney and Warner Bros and Dic Entertainment and I never even heard of the term anime until the early 2000s when I got my first DVD Player and I got into Sailor Moon because it reminded me of Pokemon because of the style of animation so I never knew that shows like Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh and Sailor Moon were normal by the time I began watching it. The first time I heard the term anime was on a ADV Films DVD called kaleido star and I saw a Anime Network advertisement on it and I recognized the style of animation and I realized that I was into anime for longer than that show and I tried to recall the first time seeing a anime. And then I realized that the first time seeing a anime was with Pokemon and I realized that the reason they had a lot of people who wasn't from America and they were from Japan I realized that the first anime I ever saw was Pokemon so from that day on I vowed that I will try to get every Pokemon movie in Japanese on DVD being it means so much to me.

I always knew that once that guy said "Illuminating Television" that was always the time when the happy sounding Saturday morning song would start!! Gosh, I loved abc saturday mornings!!

I remember back then, Me and my sister always wake up early on Saturday, and we used to jump couch to couch saying "SATURDAY MORNING!" really loud and ate cereal. Ah, good times.

The last of the great Saturday morning cartoons. Even though I was in my early adulthood when it aired, I sure related to the mundane workday theme and knew that Saturday morning was still looked forward to. Please bring Saturday morning cartoons back!

I miss the 90s too! I agree! We did have the best shows! I feel sorry for the kids that were born in 99 or after 2000! They don't know what they missed!!!
