Not true (quite yet), but honor begets honor. Attacking farmers because you see them as inferiors is a cry of dishonor and deserves no respect. Honor is in the motives and goals. Defend yourself, friends, and family is honorable. But in the actual combat, you do what it takes to enact such defense. Stepping back to give your attacker a turn is not honor, it is stupid tactics

Neither of them would typically attack like that. A bull might. But then crushed would also be with blunt force trauma and gored. Maybe if they are fragile and the bull had no horns. Or Fuck it someone had an elephant. On a planet with lots of native vegetation it might make sense to bring in elephants as heavy equipment that don't require conventional fuel. But then elephants can't really just disappear, stealth not being their strong point.

@@Snipergoat1 details are already escaping me but it sounded like the area that they had people crushed/trampled was next to forest or very tall vegetation. It's more likely that they have Asian elephants then Africans, which are more used to being in forests and know how to disappear in them.

moose or deer, maybe even bear or cougar, buggers can be sneaky when they need to be and are damn tough too but I doubt a sub-team has enough fire power to drop an elephant when it takes 6 shots to drop a child
