When I first played Novaria it took me a while to notice the stacks because I would focus more on my target but when I saw the stacks and experimented a little I understood how it worked and when I go into a direction I'd use Astral Sphere (2nd) at the opposite so far the max stacks I've gotten is 7

Whenever she says "Come to me" I felt that

A beginner's tip from fellow beginner: You can also use the skill 2, to go to designated area of the map from the base OR escape approaching enemy and hide/go through the walls to avoid getting caught

Novaria is an excellent mage with roam potential especially with dire hit Its like mage built diggy only with long range sniping ability

Novaria is probably one of the rarest heroes that aren't stupidly broken on release but also not trash. She's very rewarding once you get the gist of her imo and hecking fun to play (especially if your build is oriented on cdr).

I already tried her on practice and its true, her limit is 10 but its very hard to do if you more away from it and my only problem is that her hitbox is small even if you used your ult its still the same hitbox as franco like her hitbox as more area on the left than the right side

i think they should optimize the ult like when the 2skill is on cooldown then she ults it resets the seconds skill cd but only ones so that novaria can one shot maybe two shots 😅

Well some things I tried on my own while playing with novaria, hope it helps others: Early game: I'd buy the basic boots then go with elegant gem for the Regen when lvl up, after that mana boots. In the early game I hardly return to base thanks to element gem and mana boots. Use first and 2nd skill to clear minion waves and immediately roam to the side lanes. It's good if you are able to assist or get a kill, but the main Objective is to assist and gain more golds from the side lanes by sharing their minion waves. U will realise that back and forth, ur gold will be the top of the team. Besides that, once u have cleared the minion wave, u can utilize ur 2nd skill and check the enemy buff for vision and if u spot the enemy jungle doing their buff, u can cast ur 1st skill to haress them and even use ur skills and see if u can ks their buff. Even if u fail to steal their buff, haressing them to low HP is alr very good so that they cannot gank the lanes or take any objectives Mid game: after getting clock of destiny, I will continue to bug another elegant gem because the way I use novaria, she will gain lots of exp and gold. Her damage will spike once clock of density and lightning is done. Elgin mentioned about buying holy crystal, but personally I will buy genius wand because it goes well with the first skill. Upon casting second skill, don't release it just yet. Utilize the wall phasing advantage, use it to close up to the enemy and cast ur 1st skill to wear them down and if u bought genius, it helps to lower their magic def as well. It helps to maximize ur 2nd skill damage as well Late game: well just repeat the same things as mid game, once u have gotten genius and divine, ur damage is basically disgusting, so just keep using 1st and 2nd skill to bush check and keep poking enemies from a safe distance. Don't hesitate to use ur ult to check for enemy when they are not around the mini map. Always remember to utilize ur 2nd skill wall phasing ability, use it to get close enough to cast ur first skill on the enemy, then 2nd phase 2nd skill to maximize damage. Do this, and u can solo any squishy heroes. It also helps to escape ambush by delaying ur 2nd skill cast. Always prioritize on hitting the backline because even if u didn't manage to kill, lowering their hp will help to make them retreat so that in the teamfight ur enemies will have 1 less teammates. That's it for my own experience with the hero novaria, I hope it helps anyone who plays her My build through out the game: basic boots > elegant gem > mana boots > clock of destiny > elegant gem > lightning > genius wand > divine or bloodwing based on enemy composition > once reach lvl 15 sell the extra elegant gem and get the last item

Wait does the stack also count at the distance of the star? Will there be a different went you shot it far away since it also give you stack went you shot it. Also does it stack with the distance damage?

I think 1st and 2nd skills are okay, but her ulti maybe need to add something, either to add damage or change slow to knockout effect.

Although my first experience with her is that she's on the enemy side and it's bothering especially when we try to gank someone and she uses her ultimate and our plan will fail but other than that she's alright as a support for vision and a damage dealer.

I feel if you like playing high risk high reward prediction heroes you’ll like her a lot. Eg franco, Selena, Beatrix If you can really predict enemy movements, she’s going to help you rank up a lot easier. Just make sure the enemy doesn’t have any dive in junglers like ling haya bene or lance or else you’ll struggle w finding the perfect positions in teamfights

it took me long enough until i notice about the stacks on her 2nd skill

the only problem with her is the very slow camera turn back after the zoom out effect

its funny cuz i tried the same rapid boots and 5 windtalkers when testing novaria, basically if you wanna get ur 2nd fast just walk towards it as the downtime wont be as long ie trying to hit someone that is recalling but in general use ur 2nd away from the place you're trying to go to to maximize ur dmg. Regardless though this hero may seem op anyone who played novaria against a semi decent ling or joy would understand why this hero isnt super op in rank

Its situational, if u only want to poke then move away. If u are in like a teamfight just keep getting it back cus u can fire it faster so it can harass more enemies. If on a one v one fight u can delay it or move away for more dmg.

Oh so that's why her magic scaling is so little, because she has her way to increase her damage.

It's ridiculously hard to get a kill using Novaria. But it is what it is. She's suits better as a support mage than she is a pure mage, great for poking enemies from afar.

It's better if you build atleast 2 Wand items for movement speed, and moving inside obstacles for more movement speed I abuse that mechanic by moving through the corner of the map

I honestly think her ult needs a buff. I know vision is a game changer but looking at the current meta, a lot of heroes already offer that utility (yss, aldous, etc). The best buff for her I think is an "empowered" state of her skills upon the activation of her ult, kinda like xavier. Empowered 1st skill could be an increase in circumference or maybe a faster burst. Her empowered 2nd could be an increase in travelling distance of her sphere or maybe an instant 10 stacks. The main problem is her ult. It's just, meh. They definitely need to add something to it, 75% slow, damage, just something.

guys I need help...almost every about novaria I learned except her passive.. the description is confusing. does the passive trigger with skill 1 and 2 it just happen to trigger with skill 2?

I screwed because u released this video...im about to get one shot.

I my opinion, she is more fit to be a roamer like Selena, her ult can do the job of a tank (giving vision) and she can finish the low hp ennemy with his high range, also the scaling of the magic power is pretty bad, most of the damage is from the basic damage or her skill and passive so Novaria don't really need to get her item fast, btw you can also replace the holy cristal by the floating time for giving more vision to your team mate and spam your spell a little more.

In my opinion, Novarnia is the new best hero they brought into the game for a very long while. I didn't get too much experience with her, but from what I had: She's very fun to play, isn't oppressive or frustrating to face, has a high skill ceiling, and seems balanced as of right now. My rank is Mythic, by the way, but that's just my own experience and opinion about her. I don't think she should be adjusted quite yet, but if they end up buffing her the one thing that I think will be fitting is increasing her 2nd skill base damage and reducing its magic power scaling so she would be more free to take more defensive options without sacrificing damage. But I don't think they should buff her yet, I think she's very good right now, that's just what buff I would like to see if they end up doing so. I wouldn't want them buffing her magic scaling so she could oneshot more easily, that would just ruin her.

When i compare to anyone... I only her as another support but had a higher damage potential of Floryn. Her Ult works as a Support Ability or Skill that lets you have a vision in that certain direction. While her 1st and 2nd Spell has boosted damage depending on how you use. Remember that Support had skills that can either had a Buff, Debuff on itself, allies or enemies. While her kit is not that enjoyable on the first i've played it, maybe i will give it more tries for me to enjoy her. She reminds me of Nami in League of Legends because of her Ult but with no control aspects.

I used her as a roamer (yes, I'm a human ward) and yet my teammates laugh at me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shes good in utility with her ult as the map opener, but even tho her damage is very high, it will be wasted if you keep missing her snipe, plus shes really weak against hero with high mobility, and sometimes athena in early game really counter her so hard,

The stack can actually gain stack even after firing... it'll increase while summoning and until it hits enemy... i noticed that first time i played her in training mode

She's stronger than we think she can give visions and at the same deal a huge damage plus you can use your ultimate to help your team mates when they're chasing an enemy b'coz of slow effect and increase the hit box of an enemy hero.

She's fun to play for me bcs i like playing annoying heroes. She can steal buff and creeps from the enemy jungler in a safe distance. When aldog is ulting u, just pass true the end of the map. She's a flying ward. SHE'S A FLYING FLAMESHOT and great at securing OUR KILLS

Better to build cooldown items + damage to spam ulti and second skill >use ulti to get vision and slow enemy to hit second skill, go through walls with second skill to get extra movement speed to chase enemies while they are slowed by ulti to hit them easier from behind the teamfight while providing vision ...two birds with one ulti, vision plus higher hitbox for second skill go on the side walls like ling and hit second skill from the sides like selena so the squishy enemy at the back of the teamfight wont be able to dash out of the unexpected side hit
