The "purpose" of a cover is NOT to be, or sound, exactly like the original, but to bring your OWN version of it! What good does it do to "sound" EXACTLY like BTM? Then they shouldn't bother at all, bc it's already out there! If their version pays tribute to the original, then they did a great job.
