In this video we will show you thousands years old caves in front of Katas Raj Temple which is situated in Chakwal city of Province Punjab. The people once lived in these caves and their name plates were installed here. When Skindar-E-Azam won war against Raja Porus than he came to this area and stayed in these caves. The history tells that the areas of caves were undefeatable so Raja Porus and his army also stayed here in these caves till long time. There are many tunnels inside the caves. The temperature of these caves remain 20 degree centigrade whole year. It means the temperature of these caves still same in whole year. In summer these caves are cold and in winter these caves become hot. When Hindus worshiper came in Katas Raj Temples many years ago and they stayed in these caves but now there have built many Rest Houses and Hindus worshiper stay there. The Hindu Pandawa also stayed in these caves till long time and many “Sadhus” also worshiped in these caves because of hidden place and after that they awarded “Sadhus” degree. These caves are very long and some are so long that those open on the other side of the mountain. Geologists say that these are sedimentary rocks. According to scientists here was a sea about thousands years ago. After that the sea become dry and these mountains came into existence. The things like as natural fossils present in these caves. Now these caves become deserted and unsettled and snakes, scorpions and other animals live in large numbers. The bats also live in large numbers. Many small temples present here where Hindus worshiped Shivling till many years ago. In fact this is so sacred place in Hindu religion and no doubt this is a historical place of the world.
