The shoe polish actually creates shadows that would normally occur in daylight. Very nice! Gonna try this.❤

Oooo, it's so elegant. How well does the glue adhere to the canvas? I've noticed with glue guns that over time the glue comes off what it's stuck to. Is this less of a problem because of the texture of the canvas?

❤ I'm trying this out. I used my glue gun and had two branches extend beyond edge of canvas. Do you think I should paint the branches black or gold?

what kind of protective coating can you put over shoe polish?

I tried this out Friday, minus the spray paint, and I only used the black paint on the branches-then wiped it off with baby wipe. Unfortunately 😔 the baby wipe took off the paint from the branches. The gold paint was a kid's paint. Did you let your gold paint dry 24 hours?
