One Track Mind Ep. 8 - Trip of a Lifetime

Күн бұрынNot all trips are created equal and not all mountains are created equal. This episode takes us into the majestic Great Basin National Park. Great Basin is home to some of the most unique terrain that I have ever laid eyes upon and holds one of the raddest freeride zones I have ever seen.
Getting into these zones is no easy task though. We spent just under a week in the park traversing through the mountains, camping in epic basins and skiing insanely fun lines. It was a ton of work to make it all happen, but this trip will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I liked this one quite a bit. Mountain touring and skiing is a niche subject. And not a lot of people do it in the US. I think you got this. I can watch it over and over again.

Love those windscoured skitchy turns at the top - so familiar with them. Nothing makes you hyperfocus more on every detail of your turn. Also a real fun binding check.

I drove hwy 50 many times driving from Colorado to California and back. I often pondered skiing those peaks in Nevada. Nice skiing and thanks for sharing!

Min 3:30... omg salomon QST is so one note deep powder ski... 😂😂😂😂 Just awful in any other conditions.... ice... haha... nope... Also, that wasn't ice, it was basic hard pack. rarely gets softer than that out east, so 😢...
