6 ай бұрынI was getting on a 10 hour direct flight to Bangkok after getting tired of hte cold weaher in Sweden, like so many times before. I had no plan for anything and just my backpack with all my belongings.

Nice video William. I went to Thailand for 6 weeks jan-feb 2023. I got a good deal on Thai at 850 USD return. Looks like you flew with them too. It was as nice as ever. I ended up staying most of the time in a place that I avoided during many trips from 1991 to 2006. Pattaya. Undeserved bad rep. Been there multiple times during the last 15 years. It has great selections of restaurants, most bang for the buck on accommodation. If you need tropical paradise beaches, take a 30 baht boat to Koh Larn. Good stepping point to go to the amazing group of islands in Trat. Or even closer too Koh Samet which was a paradise in 1994. I am heading to central america soon. It is going to be nice to get out of this unusually cold winter now. I spent new years there 2016/2017, it was wild. 🙂

@@williamtaudien The boat leaves from Bali Hai pier...southern end of Pattaya beach. Rent motorbike on the island or take songthaews to get around.

@@williamtaudien Well, it's much sleazier than the rest of the Thailand. Really don't see point spending time in Pattaya unless for the nightlife around sex industry. Of course it's affordable with good services, but so are many other places in Thailand.

I love your videos. I have seen other channels do vids on Pattaya and so I knew I would enjoy this one. The best part for me was the unexpected first 2 minutes showing us Sweden and your parents. The snow and small-town vibe were a stark contrast to busy Pattaya. I'm in my 50's and it's always nice seeing folks, like your parents, still active into their 70's. Safe travels!

Excellent video as always! You always choose great apartments with awesome pools. As a lap pool swimmer, I find it hard to find decent lap pools when I travel, so I always bookmark the videos where you choose accomodation with outstanding pools. These two apartments were incredible. Happy new year, William, wish you much success and happiness in 2024. Ps your parents are true role models. I really aspire to be like your mom when I’m 70 ! They are both incredibly fit and healthy.😊

Super to see you arriving at a new destination, William! When I saw those dramatic drone shots of the top of the tall hotel with those swimming pools ---- I thought to myself "William, PLEASE DON'T DO ANY POOOOOL TRIIICKS ON THE EDGE!! So you're looking at houses! Well, take a long time and look at lots and lots of places. What's the rush? That could be part of your new adventure of learning about all these different areas and living options in the region... a great way to really get to know an area.

Oh man, has it been a YEAR? Wow, I'm in and out trying to keep up with your videos all year. But that last Sweden family visit with your family was so fun. Your friend doing that spin-around while skiing down the slop trick is LOCKED into my brain as a thing I want to learn. And all the stuff you did all year--in Italy, and the sickness/recovery In Egypt. So this is going to be another great year of adventures, I wish you well. haha, i was excited to watch your video after I noticed there is a new video out from William about Pattaya visit. Because guess what, i'm also in Pattaya now...for 4 days. :) If i happen to see you, i will say hello. Lol im still smiling, i will tell my wife tomorrow morning she will be laughing as well.
