Actually as an adult u can see that Mr. Bean is a very tradic character, he tries to fit in society but always has bad luck, but still a heart of gold and mostly good intentions, for example at the end of the wedding he knows he fucked up but still gave them the present with a big smile. I know it should look very funny, but think of it... He always fail to fit in society, loose his girfriend to another man over less than a few minutes, he is always alone at home, has no Friends ... He is a tradic character with a secretly hero-aspect

There's theories that he's an alien or a human who has been captured and experimented on by Aliens, and it trying to fit and and pretend he's normal. That's why he struggle to act humanly and why he falls in the beginning of episodes from what could be an ovni. Obviously just a theory. Atkinson has said in an interview that Bean has "a certain alienesque thing to him"

I'm actually feeling quite sad while watching mr. Bean nowadays.... I've grown up watching him and no matter what, even to this day , I watch his episodes while having lunch. It makes all my problems vanish. I just can't imagine my life if mr. Bean episodes stop being made. Sometimes we realize the value of a moment only after it becomes a memory... I loved mr. Bean , I still do , and will never stop.
