One-week construction time-lapse with 31 closeups: Week 44. This week is a balance of structural steel work, tower crane action, little bits of rebar work, excavating, and "general miscellaneous" shots. A little less hectic than some recent weeks, perhaps, but still some good highlights in there. In this series, we're following the construction of a new 12-story hospital that will occupy an entire city block in San Francisco. This is a construction time-lapse at 900x, with 31 "bonus" highlights/closeups scattered throughout at various speeds, compressing the 5-day period from April 27 - May 1, 2015 (Week 44) into about 29½ minutes. Night-times and non-working days are omitted. I had yet another camera mishap this week: the base time-lapse camera crashed and stopped recording at 2:16 pm on Friday afternoon. Fortunately, there wasn't much activity after that time, and there was no work on Saturday this week, so I ended this week there, where the camera happened to stop. I think I have identified the problem, though, so at least I think I know how to avoid it in future weeks.
