Week 6 in the ongoing Ⓢ series, which follows the construction of a new 13-story senior living building in San Francisco. This is a #construction #timelapse with various closeups and "sub-time-lapses" at various speeds, condensing the week of March 9 - 14, 2020, into about 25 minutes.
Excavation continues with the seemingly ever-present parade of trucks, there's another #concrete pour, and we see the very start of what will eventually be lots and lots of rebar for the slab. We also catch a glimpse of a protest march passing by. We're finally starting to see a little bit of rain now. For the first time ever recorded, San Francisco had no rain at all in February, which is normally a rainy month. In March, at least some rain finally appeared, most notably a reasonable rainfall event on Saturday.
