Two comments: Wouldn't it have been easier to frame the openings while building the walls as opposed to cutting them out after erecting the walls? And two, why aren't you door and window headers in? Or installed at the same height?

Absolutely would have! We just were undecided on where we wanted the windows so we did it later down the road.

My mother lived in a house and parents the same size in the 1930’s and were very thankful for a roof over there heads !! Sometimes we lose focus on the wonderful things we have ❤️🙏
